The Hampton Inn Watertown was a newish modern hotel. The room and bathroom were clean. The bed was cozy and comfortable- it had a mattress topper and a flat sheet along with the comforter and classic Hilton feather/down pillows! Loved the walk in shower with the easy access to the water controls so you don’t get wet when you turn it on! Our room was on the third floor facing Arsenal drive- not a busy street but you can hear the quiet hum of passing cars but not enough to disturb you. We didn’t get to explore the Arsenal yard’s accessible shops and restaurants but it is a very nice area! Loved the spacious breakfast area with a variety of seating, even an outdoor lounge and some tables and sofas with charging stations. Breakfast was good with the usual Hampton fare. I enjoyed the choice of hard boiled eggs instead of the scrambled or the omelet. Bacon was perfectly crispy and the mini waffles were delicious.

Wish they mentioned in the confirmation email that you have to turn onto Bond street and then turn into the alleyway next to the hotel and park along the curb in the “drop off” zone (that’s also where the entrance doors are located) to check in first to get the parking pass to the garage next door. Also FYI, the lobby is on the second floor but there is an elevator.

One downside is that you have to pay an additional $25 for parking per day. This should be included in the total when you are searching online. People are obviously comparing prices of the hotel stays so this appears slightly less expensive since the parking is not listed in the total.

Huge room, excellent location, great friendly helpful staff. Highly recommend. Also the area was packed with so much to do all around the hotel within walking distance - bares, restaurants, movie theater and more.

Only thing was our particular room's carpet smelled just a touch musty (not too much). Also they need to fix the hallway stair doors - they all SLAM shut. Very happy we weren't sleeping near any of them. Otherwise terrific place and would stay again if in area.

It was easy to get to St. Elizabeth's Hospital. We stayed here so we wouldn't have to drive in rush hour traffic to get to the hospital at 7AM, from 50 miles away. The breakfast buffet was excellent and they also have a bagged breakfast to go, if you are in a hurry. We stayed in a third floor room overlooking Bond St. Not much to see except the building across the street but we didn't go to a hotel in the city for the view! The hotel is fairly new so it was in great condition and clean. The staff, including Crystal who checked us in and out, and the housekeeper were very friendly and accommodating There are two parking areas, a lot and a garage, next to the hotel. We chose to use the garage that you use your room card to gain access to. An elevator brings you back up to street level or you can walk. Other places in the area charged $40 a day extra to park! Check into extra fees like parking before you book accommodations in this area! The only reason I didn't give the highest rating for value and location is because it is in a city so naturally you have to pay more for a room and there isn't much to look at. The big plus for us is that it is easy to get to the hospital from this location.

The only very minor things wrong in the room were that the handheld shower didn't work and I couldn't get anything to plug into one outlet. The overhead shower worked fine and you can adjust the water stream from higher pressure narrow stream to a wider pattern soft stream by rotating the shower head.

super clean single king bed room, the bathroom was immaculate and the toiletries provided were nice. the bed was very comfortable and the bedding what pristine, great pillows. the work area was small but effective and the Wi-Fi worked well.

the included breakfast was o pretty standard American continental style breakfast with hot items eggs, potatoes and bacon. the potatoes were tasty. unfortunately the eggs were terrible, I think they just been on the heat of the warm serving pan too long. I had a banana and yogurt which was very fresh.

Hotel,location n cleanliness

While booking it shows that it has a balcony but there is no balcony instead there is a back view n most importantly I chose this hotel because of free parking but they charged us 28$ per night for parking.I claim this money to booking.com because they said they gave you wrong information.

Brand new room design with a shower behind a glas wall with movable door. Nice shampoo and shower gel in big bottles mounted at the shower wall. Garage parking is easy, but costly. But this is common at major spots. The hotel is nicely located in the vicinity of Harvard Business School and MIT at Cambridge.

With respect to environmental efforts, the "all plastics" tableware for breakfast should be replaced and changed to good old metal hardware and porcelain cups and dishes hardware that can be cleaned and stored for re-use in the breakfast area.

Located very conveniently to restaurants and shopping, including a grocery store. Just had to step across a sidewalk and you were in a small shopping district. There was plenty of room at breakfast for people to spread out. Oatmeal was nice and thick with great toppings. Enjoyed the scrambled eggs and fresh fruit. It was quiet and the staff were super friendly and helpful.

Parking could have better signage but was adequate and convenient.

I really wish the breakfast could offer just a bit more, at last have a package with classic mayonnaise, it can bring taste to almost everything. Mayonnaise can also give joy of life in general.😉

Comfortable room. Location just outside Boston, not too far from downtown. All the staff I encountered were really friendly and nice in different ways through my stay.

Irritatingly, I was woken up several times by the cleaners on check out day, hotel needs to be much better at scheduling as it shows severe lack of organisation.
