The location was excellent, and the staff were very helpful, especially since I had to extend my stay unexpectedly. I was given a fairly high room as I'd requested -- thank you! -- and really enjoyed the quiet and the view in my room.

Even though the restaurant staff was helpful, I found the space where breakfast was served rather cold (in feel and in temperature), and the charge seemed high for what was offered. And although I know Boston hotel prices are expensive, paying about $500 a day was not easy.

The location was fabulous: Everything we wanted to see and do was nearby, and we enjoyed our walks through The Harvard Yard, Harvard Square and by the river. The bedroom was comfortable and the bed super cosy!

I found the bathroom too small and cramped.... and although there was an in-room coffee machine, the supplies of tea and coffee and milk were lacking. I thought the room was overpriced...

Beautiful property

The restaurant isn’t open for lunch and it is about an eight minute walk to Harvard Square. So no running out for a quick latte. That would be nothing normally but it was over 90 degrees when I was there so it was something. The walk would also be an issue in the heart of winter. Having a car would not help because there is no parking in Cambridge.

Location was great, just a few blocks to Harvard Square and T. The rooms was comfortable, clean, nicely designed. Parking wasn't cheap, but it was easily accessible. All staff were really personable, efficient, and professional. The food and drinks were good. The restaurant has a great atmosphere.

I just didn't like the door of the bathroom having frosty glass instead of opaque material, and that the bathroom door opened up to the bed, instead of over to the side. I don't want to look into the bathroom, and it gets steamy and possibly smelly.

proximity to Harvard square, cleanliness, clean and simple decor. I enjoyed the gym as well.

elevators were tiny and the door that opens into the bathroom is strange logistically in that the person on a toilet or people can’t walk straight to the sink, they would have to open the bathroom door then, close it to get around the toilet.

Location is great for access to Harvard Law School. The beds were amazingly comfortable. The shower had too little water pressure. The room feels a little dated, but is very nice.

Absolutely amazing location - Harvard Square. I was happy that upon check-in I was told everything I needed to know i.e. breakfast time and cost, room clean up and how that works etc. Any request I had was taken care of. Staff was super nice and welcoming!

Nothing negative came up.

Solid building, comfortable bed/pillow. It was quiet. Good restaurant/staff.

Bar was a little old fashioned. No mocktails or newer low/non-alcoholic beers.

Everything about about the Hotel is First Class. We were lucky to get a room for my 55th Reunion. We recently stayed at the Renassaince hotels in Paris and Barcelona. The Sheraton Commander ranks as high as those superb hotels.

I like to location , but the hotel had few facilities for the price . Just a room with confort bed and a nice showe

The Hotel must have more facilities to deserve the price.
