The location is excellent, with bus and subway station right outside the hotel, easy to get anywhere in Boston. the hotel is next to the Harvard campus and the Art Museum, I went to the Harvard campus every day during my stay. There is a wide range of Japanese, Vietnamese, Italian, Chinese and local food nearby, and I ate every kind in turn during my stay, all of which were very good. The front desk service was warm and attentive, and there was a lovely room service aunt, thank you very much. All in all, a very satisfying experience and I will be back here next time I am in Boston.

The front desk staff was very hospitable and welcoming. They did their best to accommodate us while moving my daughter into her dorm at Harvard. If you are looking to be close to campus there is nowhere better in Cambridge. We did not use a car but the parking area felt very safe and our room was nice and spacious.

There was some minor wear-and-tear in the hallways such as the room numbers on the doors but for a beautiful historic building, the rooms felt brand new.

PERFECT location for the Boston Celtic Music Festival with my adult daughter. VERY clean! Super comfy bed! Easy to get to with friendly, helpful staff and easy parking in their small lot. Small coffee station in the lobby was a plus. First room didn’t have a fridge which was important to me as I have lots of food allergies and always bring food with me. Moved us to a room in the 4th floor with no issues with a much nicer view. Room was a bargain in comparison with surrounding places. Don’t let reviews about the showers scare you away…it was great, though it did have a half glass enclosure which I’m sure many don’t like. Would definitely stay again if given the chance!

The internet bandwidth. Very poor and inconsistent, so tough to get a few work-related things done while on vacation.

Every staff member I have talked to is very helpful and friendly. Thank you to the front desk manager in the morning who kindly allowed me to use the luggage cart to move my daughter’s luggage to the Harvard Yard. The late check in the night before was very smooth and fast so that we could enter our room and start rest immediately after a long and late flight. Overall very nice experience. The room is very clean and the beds are clean and comfortable. House keeping does a wonderful job also. The guests can always have drinking water hot, room temperature, or cold, in addition to coffees and teas. It’s not a luxurious level but you can enjoy a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Last but not the least, it’s just one block from the Harvard Yard.

I loved how close it was to The Sinclair! I went to see an artist on Monday evening and the walk back (which I was super worried about before arriving) went wonderful! I was grateful to the staff there that evening as well as they welcomed me back. It was super nice! :)

There seemed to be a couple fruit flies in my room at the time of my stay. Some were on the ceiling of the bathroom and there was an odd brown stain by the drain in the shower, but other than that I have nothing really to complain about. It was still a comfortable stay.

The location is the winning factor! The price was ok too.

The showers could be better — handheld pressure type. Some more in-house facilities may be a good add on. My room was in the bus holding point side so there was no view plus the busses noise from their brakes was a distraction. A room in the other side with street view may have been better. But no complaints.

This was such a find, especially considering Harvard Sq location. Incredible price, nearby SpotHero parking for $15 for 24 hours (hotel parking would have been expensive) but everything about this hotel was great (we noted some negative reviews but none of that was true during our stay.) We highly recommend staying there and will again.

The proximity of the hotel to the Harvard campus was a huge value for us. Rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable. Shower pressure was top. Elevator and parking onsite.

No breakfast available but a couple of bakeries within a few steps that open very early (Flour, Peet's Coffee), nothing to worry about.

Excellent location, clean and well maintained rooms. Very close to the Harvard T Red Line station and Harvard, and there are so many great places to eat nearby.

No coffee machines in the rooms, no gym or anything other than the rooms and a cheerful small lobby area.
