Good location and nice hotel. The staff were friendly. We had an upgraded room with hot tub which was very nice.

The booking.com reservation system was not very good. I made my first reservation then cancelled (easier than trying to modify my original) from 3 nights to 2 nights. However, then my itenerary was entirely cancelled. I tried to call the hotel directly to confirm I had the new reservation, but it was nearly impossible to find the actual hotel number (online searches kept linking to booking.com). The continental breakfast was basically premade toaster pancakes, old dry peanut butter, and bagels with NO hot food. Holiday Inn does a much better job with breakfast and I expected more for an "upscale hotel" such as this one.

I didn't get to have breakfast. I went down there about 6:20 and the doors were locked. I had to leave for the rest of my journey, so I never got to enjoy breakfast before I left. The room is so wonderful, the jacuzzi was great!

The fireplace in my room (209) did NOT work at all. I tried the timer (I saw the note by the television) but NOTHING turned that fireplace on :( And as I mentioned above, I didn't get any breakfast or coffee in the morning :(

Friendly, clean. Kids loved the pool.

Breakfast wasn't great. No one was restocking the stuff so it was very limited. Lots of things were gone, cream cheese, eggs, milk, juices, so we had to eat dry cereal. No one around that we could find to refill stuff on either morning we ate. Breakfast is from 7 -10, we ate at around 8-8:30, do wasn't even towards the end.

I'm very picky when it comes to clean rooms. This room was one of the cleanest I've stayed in. Very happy.

The only reason I'm not giving the facility an excellent is due to the fact that there was not a restaurant/bar as advertised. We were looking forward to an onsite restaurant after driving all day. However, the manager was very receptive to my complaint.

We are from Georgia. My husband was up here visiting. He was involved in a motorcycle accident and ended up in the hospital. We needed a room downstairs that had something he could sit in as well. They were able to get us into a nice suite on the lower level. There was a great selection of food to choose from for breakfast. The cleaning staff supplied us with anything extra we needed, since we decided to stay an extra day. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I am up that way! 😊

Ice machine didn't work in our area.

Stayed here while headed home from downstate. Super clean, quiet, family friendly place. Kids loved the spacious room. The fruit choices at breakfast were plentiful and good! Lots of parking near the various entrances.

No hot tub or sauna and the pool could have been warmer. Slightly dated could use updates but it's clean and comfy! I didnt mind using the stairs but if that's an issue for you request 1st floor. Slightly expensive for my preferred budget but worth it for the comfort of having a clean room, and also it's tourist season so to be expected

The property was well-maintained. The location was perfect. My granddaughters loved the swimming pool. Everything that I saw was clean and neat.

I really can’t say I didn’t like anything other than what I was charged. Since it is an older building, I felt I was overcharged for a one night stay for myself and my granddaughters. 

Friendly staff very clean rooms and pool no smells of smoke we come up to Escanaba every year memorial day weekend. We always stayed at the same hotel until this year we decided to try here and all 14 of us will be back next year!

Breakfast was good. Nice to be able to walk out in the backyard by the lake. Room was a nice size with a table.

Concerned about the electrical in the bathroom. Sometimes the main light wouldn’t turn on and you would need to wait for it for a minute or two??? Then the plugs in the bathroom didn’t work at all for a time and then we went back in a little later and they worked again???? The person was on the phone when we came to check in. That is totally understandable. And not a problem in itself but he continued to talk(it was business) and never did acknowledge our presence at all. These was at least 3-4 minutes.

We loved the jetted tub in the room ! Breakfast was acceptable. The hotel was quiet.

The staff in charge of breakfast wasn't very welcoming. They were looking at their phones instead of taking care of the customers.
