Hyatt Place Flint/Grand Blanc

We arrived very late, which was beyond our control, which didn't affect our arrival. But we rang the bell 3-4 times and had to knock on the door very loud to be let in ,as the door were locked. I understand that, and the young lady explained they were short handed, I understand for the safety for you employees, but we shouldn't have had to ring the bell 3-4 times and bang on the door. The young lady was very nice and professional and was doing her job. No one was at the front desk when we checked out either. So I left our keys on the front desk. The hotel itself was very clean, and nice place to stay.

I thought there were a good variety of options for breakfast. The room was very comfortable. Parking availability was good. Safe area, well lit, convenient location.

They were out of coffee one morning and I didn't have to time to wait as I was on my way to work. It was a bit loud in the evening with people hanging out in the lobby laughing and cheering after 10:00 pm, as my room was close to the lobby. When I went to the pool on my last day there were no pool towels. I was told nonchalantly by the person at the desk they were all in the wash. There was no offer of any assistance for an alternative.

There was a nice assortment of things for breakfast. The staff was very friendly. The hotel was very clean. The pool appeared nice although we didn't use it.

They are short housekeeping staff at the moment, so the room wasn't cleaned daily. It didn't need to be though as we tend to be neat. If we needed anything (more towels, etc) we just asked at the front desk and they were more than happy to supply it.

This is our second visit to this hotel. It is centrally located for visiting family in the area. The breakfast is great, with options for my gluten and dairy free son. The rooms have been fantastic and most importantly very clean. We will certainly stay again. The staff have always been friendly and helpful.

I can't always get a handicapped parking space for my special needs son, but that is an issue at most hotels.

The room was very nice, and clean. We got lunch from the restaurant and the food was very good. The staff we dealt with were very friendly and professional.

Small thing: keep coffee in the lobby longer. We went looking for coffee in the lobby late morning and there was nothing available. The coffee maker in the room was OK. Also, the staff we dealt with were truly great, but you seem to be understaffed. The sweet woman we worked with in the restaurant seemed to be doing both the cooking and cashier duties. Maybe employ fewer "do nothing" management types and put more boots on the ground?

I love the bathroom and the beds. The beds were very comfortable and the staff kept everything very clean. If we needed anything the staff met every need and exceed every expectation. We had a small church convention and we were met with exceptional help and service.

I didn't like that there was no microwave in the room

The location was very convenient, close to stores, food and gas stations. The facility was immaculate and the service staff was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

I was very frustrated that I was unable to check in an hour early due to arriving ahead of schedule. My stay would've been perfect had it not been for that. I called the night before to explain that I may arrive ahead of schedule and I wasn't accommodated for that request. I would expect better from such an expensive hotel.

Never fails to amaze us, we love this place.. we went to a different hotel but left of course and came right back to the Hyatt.The reason for the other hotel was we needed an early check in but we ended up waiting until 1pm for a room to become available, so we waited 5 hrs that lets you know how great it is, always clean and smelling good I'll pay for quality everytime.

Nothing loved everything.

Very clean rooms...comfort was a plus, and the breakfast was sensational....and I felt very safe, at night the doors are locked, only can get in if you have a room card...I would definitely stay here again

I didn't have the breakfast. I'm not up early enough for that. Maybe if it was till 10:30 or 11:00 it would be better.
