The breakfast was very basic with pre-packaged/boxed items and the only fresh option was making your own waffle.

The breakfast area could have been cleaner and wiped down better, especially the juice machine. Didn’t look it had been cleaned in a while. Obviously it was a pet friendly hotel, but that got out of hand when a guest brought their dog into the dining area and let it jump up on the table.

The location was great for our family reunion in Manistee. The parking lot was laid out a little strangely, but the lines were easy to see. It is close to local restaurants, as well as some national chains. It is also close to a Meijer for easy shopping. The staff were all kind and helpful, and made great recommendations for dinner! The hotel provided continental breakfast, pre-packaged items that were essentially grab and go. There is not any hot food for breakfast.

It was weird in this day and age to not have USB ports for connecting our phone chargers and laptops, but there were enough open "regular" outlets available. The lamp and alarm clock were plugged in to a power strip, which was plugged in at the head of the mattress -- the mattress was so close to it that whenever we sat down on the bed, the cord moved and the lights and digital clock lost power. We just moved the mattress further away from the wall by an inch or so, which seemed to resolve that issue. There is not a ton of shelf / drawer space for 4 adults in one room, but it was ok for a single overnight stay. The coffee was available 24 hours, but wasn't very strong, seemed watered down.

I was worried about the bed because I struggle to sleep in hard hotel beds. The bed was hard as I expected but super comfortable, I slept perfectly. No complaints about anything.

The apple juice and orange juice wasn't great but it was conveniently in a can. Honestly that was the only thing I could come up with.

Breakfast options were very limited. They did have yogurt, muffins, and granola bars, and a variety of beverages. The walls are paper thin. I could hear the man in the next room coughing and snoring all night. I could also hear people chatting while walking up and down the halls all night. Pillows weren't super comfortable. There isn't a pool or hot tub.

As east side Michiganders, this was our first time visiting Manistee. We just needed a room for the night, and I chose Super 8 based on it's availability and location.. This hotel greatly exceeded my expectations! Very friendly and professional staff, hot beverages and cookies (yum!) in the lobby, and to go bags for breakfast (yogurt, muffins, granola bars). Property was clean, quiet, and comfortable.. We will definitely come back here next time we're in the area!

I really have no complaints.. For the value and location this was a great hotel for our family. I'm sure some would complain about no hot breakfast, but I felt the to go bags were a nice replacement and was glad the hotel is following safety protocols.

The room was larger than expected, had a nice couch and lamp, desk, bed, and we even had a Jacuzzi tub that was offered. Nice open space, didnt feel crowded. They're taking comfortable steps to keep people safe during the pandemic without really restricting guests. I really enjoyed my visit

The breakfast bags were nice, but didnt cater to allergies or special diets. Each one had muffins (Gluten) and yogurt (dairy) and a granola bar with a bottle of water. While I had no issue with the offerings, I noted that the bags could pose issue for some.

I was able to take a bath and relax in the larger sized tub.

Carpet in the room could use a deep steam cleaning. Room #121. I appreciated the COVID-19 precaution policy with staff not automatically refreshing the room daily but felt bad that they then don’t get tips which I would imagine many people count on.

I appreciated the staff allowing slightly early check in. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was hot ,breakfast was adequate with fresh coffee , flavored creamer, muffins, cereal and Oatmeal. I definitely would come again.

Room was large and comfortable , the in-room whirl pool was great. Great location.

The breakfast wasn't the best but a awesome little breakfast restaurant just down the street

Check-in was very quick. Our room was comfortable and very clean. The cookies in the lobby were tasty.

I was just surprised that cookies were baked on site and left for guests, but breakfast was a "to go" type with nothing hot (eggs, waffles, ect.) due to Covid. We ate somewhere else, which added to our travel costs.
