Loved the fact that the staff accommodated to our wants and took the pool cover and jacuzzi off. Rooms are very spacious and clean, really thoughtful layout as well. Beds were comfy too! The surroundings are really quiet and it's really close to the shopping area.

There is no information to be found about the seasons at which the pool is closed off from public use, this could be updated in the description of the property. We have decided to use the pool but staff made us aware that the water will be as it is because they've stopped heating the pool after Labour Day, so bare that in mind.

Staff was wonderful, everyone we met was very kind. Pam was amazing. She helped with things we needed before we even knew we needed them. She made our stay very comfortable. I book this place because all of the reviews mentioned how pleasant the staff was and how clean everything was. Everything was great. The kids had a great time and so did we. We will def recommend and stay again!

Love the staff and we love having the pool! Also love how close it is to everything. We visited Pentwater, which is not far from there, for our second time and loved it just as much as the first time. :)

Unfortunately, our room smelled pretty musty, so I’m not sure if that has to do with a leak in the bathroom, but regardless it definitely did not ruin our stay!

I did get to the area fairly late - they were so accommodating with my late arrival and helped me find a place for a quick bite too! I made it a little before the pool and hot tub closed so I even got to unwind in there for a bit - did forget my towel by mistake but they handed me one so I didn't freeze running to my room dripping wet!

I don't have much to say here! The rooms were comfortable and clean, hot water, shower pressure, comfy beds, close parking, lovely staff! - may not have any cons!

I liked the close proximity to the sand dunes. enjoyed the fire pit in the evening with the family. Thankful to have rooms next to each other on first floor making unloading/loading easier. Children enjoyed the outdoor pool.

Microwave was rusty on the inside. No breakfast served had to purchase our own. Hot tub could have been a little hotter.

Our stay was great, the room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were great, very accommodating and knowledgeable about the local area and recommending places to eat, things to do and even the best route out to continue our journey! The area around the rooms was beautiful, with areas to sit and relax and a small play park for kids.

Nothing to mention.

Shawn is a great guy! And all the little stuff that isn’t perfect around there means nothing to me. We will stay here again and the reason is because of Shawn. Down to earth and great person is why we will be back there. Thank u.

Bed was a lil stiff for my beat up body. And breakfast is my favorite meal so a lil simple breakfast or a breakfast food truck parked out in the am would be a great lil addition.

The owners running the Lodge are awesome! Friendly and warm, full of great advice and fun stories. This is what makes a good stay a memorable stay. The Sierra Sands Family Lodge is located very conveniently within walking distance from all the attractions at Silver Lakes. Our room was impeccably clean! The beds are very comfy and the TV nice and big (we spent the evening in watching a football game). Our highlight was the pool and hot tub, open from 8 am to late in the evening. We loved it and spent a good amount of time there. There is no breakfast, but good coffee. Overall our highest recommendations, we'd definitely come back.

Nothing bad to say really, everything was just perfect.

Everything was great about our stay there. The location, the room, the staff. The owner of the hotel (Sean) was a lifesaver to us. Our car key snapped in the ignition and he did everything he could and helped us get out of this difficult situation. Definitely recommend to visit Silver lake and to stay at Sierra Sands Family Lodge.

The hotel is clean and well kept, and the beds are very comfortable. The staff is excellent. We will definitely stay here again. We really like the close proximity to everything.

It would be nice if they provided a few more toiletries in the room.
