Best Western Plus Albert Lea I-90/I-35 Hotel

It's been a long time since my wife and I got a full breakfast at a hotel. It was excellent and we were very comfortable in our room. The cost was the best deal in the area, though like everything else the cost was more than I wanted to spend. The breakfast just about made up for that. We will stay here again.

Goodbye staying at a good hotel for under $100 a night. that was about the only complaint I had and everyone in the country that doesn't have their head in the sand knows where the blame lies.

When we arrived, Carrie did a terrific job of providing a warm and friendly welcome. after 8 hours on the road we were happy to be greeted that way. The rooms were very good size, clean and the bathrooms were modern with great water pressure. The breakfast was done very nicely with all details thought of. A wide range of items to choose from and surprisingly, biscuits and gravy. While I can’t eat that, I think it’s a really fun thing to have on the offering. Good value for the price. Comfortable! We brought our pup and we’re happy to find a clean place to stay that accepts dogs! thank you

The hotel is pet friendly and I appreciate that but surprised at the number of dog owners who don’t have the courtesy to clean up after their dogs. Come on people! Be courteous!

Location is great for us. We have family that live close and its so convenient. The staff are always so friendly and accomodating. Whenever we need a place to stay in Albert Lea we try and book with the Best Western.

Staff was very friendly made you feel like you were at home and a couple mentoring breakfast was excellent and I will also be recommending the hotel to other people to stay at and I will be back for another stay

The breakfast was great. The lady that was taking care of the breakfast area did a great job and was very friendly. Bed was comfy.

Our carpet in the room had not been vacuumed. There were crumbs and varies other things all over the room. The room had a funky, stale odor.

The location is right off I-90 and there were different food options around (but everything closes at 11pm!). They have 24hr check in. The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable except for not having real pillows. The breakfast was delicious! It’s not grab and go like other hotels are doing, so it was a pleasant surprise to be able to sit down and have breakfast before hitting the road.

I didn’t like that they didn’t have regular size pillows on the beds. They had small couch like pillows that were really uncomfortable to sleep with. Good thing we had our pillows in the car! Other then that, it was a perfect stay!

Nice variety for breakfast.

You advertised being located at the intersection of Interstate 35 and Interstate 90, but you are not. I called twice to get specific directions and the staff members I spoke with could have said, "We are a short distance west of Interstate 35 and just south of Interstate 90," but they did not. I spent much too much time driving around the looking for Exit 157 on Interstate 35, (it's on 90) or the McDonald's (there are several in the area) trying to follow directions from your staff.

Best Western is usually a regular choice for us when we can get a competitive rate. This once again was a good choice for us. Location near I90, a decent breakfast, and cleanliness made for a good stay.

No complaints - we would stay there again.

What didn't we like. The price was awesome. The staff was awesome and the breakfast was awesome. I stayed at a hotel earlier on our trip and had to pay twice as much without all the great things this hotel had to offer.

There wasn't anything I could think of that was not to like

I have stayed at this location several times and have always had a pleasing safe and enjoyable experience. I would gladly recommend this property to anyone and plan to stay here in the future.

Really isn't anything I didn't like.
