Carthage Inn

The young man who checked us in was polite, talkative, joking and very accommodating. The location is off the direct main area and interstate but not far. The Inn is older and a little outdated but they show signs of repairs and upkeep along with cleanliness outside and in. The bed was firm but comfortable, all linens were clean, stocked appropriately and room had a rocking chair with ottoman. The bathroom was small small and outdated but clean with strong water pressure, good water temp and large shower head. Walls are kinda thin; you could hear people slamming their doors at night. The "breakfast" was just cereal, milk and coffee. But overall an excellent experience and would definitely would stay there again.

The small small bathroom was a downside. You had to go through the doorway, move the door towards closing just to be able to use the toilet. If you didn't your legs would hit the door while trying to sit because they are so close to each other.

The layout and the cleanliness of the room. We also got there really late with pets and he still gave us a room even though they were full and gave us a bigger room

Nothing in particular. It seams older which could use some renovation but other then that fantastic

This was a great place to lay my head down and get a nice no frills rest. Room was large and spacious and very clean. Staff was super nice and friendly.

The only negative I have is that the hand rail on the stairs is a tad wobbly and needs a little tightening.

suggestions for improvement— new caulk in bathroom. Also, shave off some of the door between sink and room. it rubs and eventually will wear out the carpet.

The nicest people we've met. Very clean and safe. We will not stay in another hotel but this one from now on. I recommend this place to everyone. If we could go higher than a 10 we would. 10++++

No breakfast it was advertised but only coffee and juice. If they can have that why not breakfast too

We were accused of stealing a small towel and there was only one in the room to begin with. She said she believed in karma well I believe I Jesus Christ. Do not be deceived; God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. Galatians 6:7

Beds were comfy, good lighting, spacious room

Very crowded parking, paper-thin walls so everything could be heard, bathroom was on the smaller side and a bit cramped

My review should count for little, as I travel alot touring this country and my requirements are very low . It was quite,safe,comfy,door locks worked plenty of lights and plugs,heat worked great .

Enjoyed my stay. Clean, comfortable & quiet. Location was great access to highway and restaurants.

I was hoping for a better breakfast.

Just cereal. We didn't eat there.

We could hear flushing toilets above us and the water rushing down the pipes.. Kind of annoying.
