Super 8 by Wyndham Independence Kansas City

Very friendly staff person checked me in and explained everything to me. Another staff member was very friendly in the morning and greeted me while I was eating breakfast. I was very impressed by the kind, professional staff. Breakfast was continental and hit the spot. Coffee was very tasty too.

I had the room closest to the front desk and several people staying at the hotel kept coming by the front desk to talk and laugh at all hours of the night. I guess they couldn't just stay in their rooms. I was wake up by the noise at least 4 times. Friendly advice; get a room far from the front desk.

Room was good, nice big, bed was super comfortable, equipped with AC, TV, Microwave and refrigerator, there are vending machines nearby, the breakfast could've been better but ill take it. Also safety box on the room.

Parking was open, so there was one time a big trailer was there trying to get outlying to avoid hitting the cars, I mean mine was rental and covers, but that big trailer with should've not been there.

Most comfortable beds ever for a hotel! Easy access in and out. I liked that you had to have a room key to enter the building. The front lady was extremely nice. Loved her❤️

The maid manager has a bit of an attitude when asking for things. Our reservation had 3 adults and 1 child. They had 2 towels. Asked her for more towels due to having more than 2 ppl in the room.

The only reason I didn't give a 10 was the carpeting and furnishings were a little outdated. But everything was very clean and the bed was very comfortable, we slept like babies. The morning person there was funny and made my checkout enjoyable! Perfect for overnight stay, around many food places and conveniently located next to QT

Small, tight parking area

Good location. Booked early so got good price. Parking was good. Room was clean and nice, frig and microwave good. Staff nice, some fireworks went off at night, night staff came out to check what noise was. Showed that place cared about customers vehicle and property condition.

Halls smelled of smoke, no elevator, had to carry cooler and luggage up 3 flights of stairs. Breakfast ended @ 9am and choices/options were small. Place in general seemed old and used, but maintained and livable.

Desk staff was nice and accommodating. Room was in good condition. No complaints.

The room deposit. I'm not used to paying a deposit at a motel but maybe it's because too many guest cause damage to their rooms? I'm hoping to get my deposit back since I didn't cause any damage or take anything. That tendons to be seen but otherwise everything was fine.

Super comfy beds and pillows. I stripped the bed (absolutely no signs of bed bugs or gross stuff / body fluids). The Motel is located right off the interstate and there are lots of places around (gas station, food, supermarket). I have stayed in Kansas City a lot of times, and this is my favorite place. This hotel has the best price for what your get in my experience.

There is no elevator, but the rooms are only a short staircase (~10 steps?) away.

The staff was VERY friendly! Bed was comfy! Room was very clean! Felt very welcomed and comfortable in my surroundings!

I reserved a queen bed, but felt like a Full. Granted it could be because I am used to a King sized bed. The toilet was too close to the sink and the counter scratched my hip.

Great hotel for the price it was clean and quiet. Rented a room for a Royals game, Booked the room ahead of time. Arrived had no issues. Room was clean, Beds & Pillows were good. Definitely would reuse in the future again.

Breakfast was excellent! Loved the pool! My kids & i had a great time!

Washers & dryers dont work! Wish they had a deal on weekly rates cause i would have stayed a week if it was cheaper!
