Located about a hour's drive from Death Valley National Park, very clean hotel to stay. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. The rooms are quite spacious and has amenities such as fridge and microwave. They also provide a good breakfast. This is also one of the few hotels that i have stayed that provide housekeeping every day. The staff at the hotel is very friendly and helpful. If you are planning to visit Death Valley or passing by to CA, then I would definitely recommend this hotel. Overall great hotel, convenient location and clean.

The only thing that I found that I would improve upon is that instead of using disposable cups in the room, they should provide glass cups. Also, there is just one elevator in the hotel. So sometimes you have to wait for a long time for it to arrive.

Everything about this place was wonderful - the only issue I had was the selection of nearby food options. I had chosen to stay here as a place to recover after a long day of motorcycling through Death Valley. The staff who greeted me were super helpful and let me keep my bike outside the front door of the hotel, in the shade. I was given a ground floor room (as per my request) and it was spacious, cool.,and comfortable. It featured bedside lights with USB and power outlets so I could recharge my gadgets overnight. The hotel pool was empty when I got there and it was lovely to relax in it after a long hot day. The next day, I was able to use the lobby computer to plan and print my route for the day.

Not really the hotel's fault, but there is not much choice for food within walking distance of the hotel. Also, point deducted for having carpet in the bedroom. You can't keep that as clean as hardwood.

The check-in clerk was so wonderful to me and my dog. She was a love. We had a long, hot, stressful drive and I just needed to stop and rest. She gave us a great room and I was so happy to be there. A previous hotel in Death Valley Park refused to give us a room because I have a small dog. They sent us an hour further to Pahrump though I was exhausted and stressed. This hotel saved us. I am so grateful. The morning clerk let me check out an hour later. I also appreciated this. I had to get up at 1 AM for a meeting with people in the UK. Then I went back to bed. A late checkout was greatly appreciated.

I loved everything.

Room was clean and very spacious (we were astonished at the size), and either new or recently renovated. Bed was comfortable with both firm and soft pillows. Desk area was convenient for work and big enough to do so. Keurig coffee maker in the room with complimentary K-Cups. Room temperature control worked very well. Bright and inviting room. Free continental breakfast. Open, bright, inviting lobby. Lots of FREE parking (so many California hotels charge for parking these days, so I noticed that Holiday Inn Express in Nevada did not). Located only 65 minutes from Death Valley National Park, which was the purpose of our stay. Less than one mile from a Walmart, Starbucks, and food options. Casinos across the parking lot for those so inclined. We will easily choose this hotel again when we visit Death Valley NP again.

The floors. Very easy to hear the room above us as they walked around, and it’s louder than many hotels I’ve stayed at. Same with our room—we were immediately conscious that our footsteps would be heard in the room below us due to the way the floor made noise when we walked. I will bring earplugs next time for sleep.

Exceptional hotel, room and facilities, gym pool. Staff very helpful. Breakfast was great.

The fact Holiday Inn take money out of your account for incidentals/damage before checkout and you then have to wait for the money to be released back into your account. I understand they have to have a card number as guarantee but to take the money literally immediately then release it back into your account is ludicrous. It is the only group of hotels that this occurred with. Will not be booking Holiday Inn ever again.

The first thing that stands out was the friendliness of the staff. Every single person that crossed our path said, "Hello." The staff the handles the breakfast were on it. They were refilling any empty items very quickly. They were friendly and engaging in conversation.

Nothing much. The only thing that was an issue was the view. At a distance, it was incredible. However, the view diminished as it got closer to the room. It's not the hotel's fault. It just is.

location and cleanliness

The breakfast. extremely hot oatmeal at breakfast was stored and served in a container lined with thin plastic to avoid having the large container. However the thin plastic sheet could easily melt and leach plastic into the oatmeal making it unsafe. Also, all the breakfast plates and cups were styrofoam material which I think is more environmentally harmful. I wish they made more environmentally conscious choices within disposable products like perhaps paper based plates and cups instead of styrofoam.

Great space with plenty of room for all of us. The staff was so friendly, and helpful. And they even had a laundry for us to wash our dusty clothes from a couple days of hiking in the desert.

There was a weird smell in the room, probably from some thing that had been heated in the microwave by the guests before us. Since it was your typical hotel with windows that don't open, it was hard to air out the smell.

We loved this hotel so much. The room was big and spacious. It was super clean. Bathroom was huge with a fantastic shower. The hotel itself is well maintained and clean. Great laundry facility. Breakfast area was amazing. We loved the heated pool. Free parking was great.

Would love a coin machine for the laundry or card facilities.

The beds and pillows were comfortable and the pool and hot tub warm and clean. The kids had a great time using the pool and it was never very crowded. The location was about an hour away from Death Valley and had a bunch of entertainment (bowling for kids next door) and food options. The breakfast was exceptional and the best we have had since places started doing grab and go due to COVID. This was a hot breakfast with pancakes, breakfast meats, eggs, biscuits, and oatmeal, plus all the continental items as well. The staff were kind and kept the breakfast items stocked all morning. The fitness room was well-equipped and not crowded. Great stay! Highly recommend to families!
