We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Pahrump and found it to be a comfortable and convenient base for our exploration of Death Valley National Park. The hotel itself was well-maintained with clean and spacious rooms. We particularly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which offered a good variety of hot and cold options to fuel our days of adventuring. The hotel is conveniently situated near several grocery stores, allowing us to easily stock up on snacks and drinks for our road trip. Overall, we recommend the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Pahrump to anyone planning a trip to Death Valley. It provides a comfortable stay with all the essentials you need for a successful exploration of this stunning national park.

I can't say enough good things about this property. The lovely ladies at the registration desk were sweet, friendly and just incredibly kind. The room was the perfect size, bed was clean and comfortable...thank you so much for all the pillows, I loved it! The temperature was perfect for sleeping in, the bathrooms incredibly clean (nice shower and all the toiletries that you need in the bathroom in case you forgot anything ( I did 😐) and the lighted mirror!! Loved that. The experience at the breakfast lounge was also amazing, as soon as I walked in the employees were greeting me good morning, explaining the selections to me and assisting with packing it up to take back to my room. All in all the employees really made such a huge difference, for me, in my experience with this property. I've stayed at some beautiful properties but had horrible customer service; this IHG property by far delivered and I will definitely be staying here again on my next visit to see my family. Thank you so much for providing such a wonderful experience, on a holiday for that matter.

Housekeeper Rianna was a sweetheart. My wife stay in due to not feeling well. Rianna gave us what we ask for in the AM each day. Dawn at front desk was also very pleasant. Unfortunately I don’t know the name of the lady who worked the breakfast each AM, but she was also outstanding. Polite and very upbeat.

Minor issue: the hallway on the ground floor outside our room had flooded previously. The carpet had been removed. We use a transporter chair to get my wife around. The transition from it into our room or to enter the elevator are was hard to push over.

The rooms and public areas are modern, clean, and device friendly. The free breakfast seemed a bit fresher and visually appealing and there is an amazing pancake machine that makes better than restaurant quality pancakes quickly. Ample free parking. Walking distance to several casinos and shops. Pet friendly. I stayed in a single king bed room that was very spacious. Had a work desk and a settee with small table.

2 minor things. My AC was not adjustable, but because of the very hot climate, may be by design. My shower drain was loose and detached. I suggest adding travel supplies to the marketplace.

Not the most environment friendly hotel because the breakfats area only featured single use paper and plastic dishes and bowls and single use plastic cutlery. It is utter nonsense in a hotel of this size. I get this in a small motel but not here. Should anybody object that it is about saving water to wash the dishes - that is not the case otherwise the hotel would use water saving modern version of shower faucets instead of the old ones which are dumping water down the drain ( to reach the temperature, you need a much higher volume of water than it is realy necessary unlike modern faucets with indipendent regulation of volume and temperature ). Or maybe I just do not know how to use american faucets, but it is improbable.

Family road trip through California NPs and coast. 18 days / 9 different places to stay overnight. This one was second on our itinerary. Very comfortable room, new equipment, super clean. We would recommend it. Definitely great place to stay. No possible to open windows in the apartment, so air condition is the only (it worked very well but too "agresive" and noisy for us

Waste and overusing of plastic and paper dishes is enormous in this hotel as well as almost everywhere in USA. Very good hotel, but serves complete breakfast only with one use plastic/paper cutlery, places and cups??? I'm definitely not eco fanatic but the quantity of unnecessary waste after one breakfast was shocking. I'm glad we are having much higher standards in Europe regarding sustainable usage of plastic e

Great location. Quiet rooms. Friendly staff. The breakfast staff were absolutely amazing. They interacted equally well with all types and cultures of people. They were always smiling, and attentive to the breakfast area. It was my favorite part of the stay.

The beds weren’t as comfortable for me. Probably just a personal preference though.

The manager was pretty nice and kind. Once she knew that we had a long flight and got delayed, she offered us two bottles of water for free and that really saved our lives. I forgot her name but she was working in night shift between 06-06 and 06-07. My friend loved the breakfast so much. As we are heading for Death Valley for the entire day, so this such delicious and nutritious breakfast provides us enough confidence to do so.

Located about a hour's drive from Death Valley National Park, very clean hotel to stay. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. The rooms are quite spacious and has amenities such as fridge and microwave. They also provide a good breakfast. This is also one of the few hotels that i have stayed that provide housekeeping every day. The staff at the hotel is very friendly and helpful. If you are planning to visit Death Valley or passing by to CA, then I would definitely recommend this hotel. Overall great hotel, convenient location and clean.

The only thing that I found that I would improve upon is that instead of using disposable cups in the room, they should provide glass cups. Also, there is just one elevator in the hotel. So sometimes you have to wait for a long time for it to arrive.

Everything about this place was wonderful - the only issue I had was the selection of nearby food options. I had chosen to stay here as a place to recover after a long day of motorcycling through Death Valley. The staff who greeted me were super helpful and let me keep my bike outside the front door of the hotel, in the shade. I was given a ground floor room (as per my request) and it was spacious, cool.,and comfortable. It featured bedside lights with USB and power outlets so I could recharge my gadgets overnight. The hotel pool was empty when I got there and it was lovely to relax in it after a long hot day. The next day, I was able to use the lobby computer to plan and print my route for the day.

Not really the hotel's fault, but there is not much choice for food within walking distance of the hotel. Also, point deducted for having carpet in the bedroom. You can't keep that as clean as hardwood.
