Holiday Inn Express Absecon-Atlantic City Area, an IHG Hotel

Hotel is about 15 minutes from Storybook Land. Convenient location, lots of shopping centers around for food and drinks. Bed was comfortable and shower had great pressure. Breakfast was amazing!! Lots of options, eggs, pancakes, cereal, fruits and Turkey Sausage!!! We don’t eat pork, they even had biscuits and gray. The Jacczzi was also amazing after a long day walking around. We really enjoyed this hotel!

The pool wasn’t warm at all. The children didn’t mind but us adults were only able to put out feet in. The guy that checked us out wasn’t friendly which surprised me because the guy that checked us in was so nice.

Very nice place-and price-especially for the “Jersey Shore” area in high summer.

Only one person on duty at front desk. Someone in line for check in right before us ran into a very complicated problem. The poor woman alone at the front desk did all she could to not only fix their complex problem with a reservation, but apologized profusely to the growing line waiting for well over a half hour to check in. Surely a hotel of this size could afford to have more than one person on duty during the very busy early evening hours?

The hotel itself was beautiful, very clean and well kept. We didn’t have a chance to use the pool, but it looked great. The buffet breakfast was great- while the quality was pretty average and on par with your average hotel breakfast offerings, they had a really wide selection of items both hot and cold and the breakfast area was super clean like the rest of the hotel. Parking was easy/close to the entrance.

Staff at checkin were polite, but didn’t really do anything at all to make us feel welcome or explain anything to us. Didn’t tell us where the pool was, didn’t explain anything at all about breakfast hours, etc.

Pretty much had pool to our selves! Very accommodating! Breakfast options not bad, there are several options…staff great and this experience was awesome! 15 to 20 mins from AC boardwalk…12-15 mins to Tanger outlets…stores right across the street for food, wine, dollar tree, Walgreens CVS…great location and hotel

The breakfast staff closed the doors right as I were about to jump up to get my last cup of juice as the cups were super small…maybe and last call for drinks announcement would be helpful but overall, great service!

I really enjoyed my stay and would stay again.... Reception was phenomenal they couldn't do enough for you.... The breakfast offered was wonderful.... Would suggest staying here is you need to be in the Atlantic City area

The $200 hold on my credit card that has still not been released.... The hotel said I had to contact booking. Com and my credit card company.... So that is why I only gave 4 stars because if the hold would have been released when the hotel said it would I would have given 5 stars

nice spot , short Uber ride to the casinos, pretty good breakfast , facilities were clean, room was spacious comfy and clean, staff was super friendly and helpful

usually enjoy the pool and relaxing in the spa tub, Friday afternoon it turned into an indoor waterpark nuthouse, kids cannonballing into the pool and the hot tub!!! people wearing coats and lingerie as swim suits!! I didn’t complain or anything but it was so loud in there couldn’t have a conversation with my wife so I grabbed my little Bluetooth speaker to at least relax to some music and the maintenance guy asked me to turn it off!! it was okay for everyone to bounce off the walls s scream and yell run around like fools but the little speaker was too much?? need some sort of pool rules enforced and not just no music

Comfortable beds and pillows. Breakfast included. Breakfast selection. Coffee/tea station. Water with lime station.

Walls are extremely “thin”. Could easily hear people’s conversations and TV in the neighboring rooms. Pool area needs to be monitored and checked more often to make sure guests are being appropriate, safe, and to refill towel station. Stock coffee station with plain creamer.

Check in was easy the guy was nice. The hotel was fanatic and clean

The person working that night banged on our door like she was crazy for a noise complaint. Apparently whomever next door said there was loud music. Verses front desk calling she pounded on the door. There was no loud music my 5 yre old had the TV up loud. This could have been handed in a better way.

the location was great to where we were going. the pool and hot tub was a great. the front desk staff John was very attentive and assisted with all our needs.

the only thing we didn’t like about the property was the noise coming from the floor above. seems like the walls aren’t thick enough so people walking sounded like they were stomping.

Lovely hotel with very comfortable beds, clean rooms and love the mounted toiletries by the sink and in the shower. Lots of selection for breakfast.

Train going by behind the hotel a few times throughout the entire day. Main road could be busy, so no left turns permitted, so having to drive past the hotel just to go across the street was bizarre and annoying.
