clean, large rooms. However, even when we put out the service request on the doorknob, nobody came in, The room furniture was ugly, dark gray shapeless commode and night stands that didn't match the smaller table with the coffee maker(that didn't work) the standing lamp and the small table didn't match anything in the room. as well as the blue chair in yet another style didn't match anything at all. there were no pictures on the wall, just white walls. All in all the room looked drab. Don't know what kind of interior decorator they used(if any), but thumbs down. The little pools were nice to cool of.

Our stay was amazing!! The staff was exceptional and all were super helpful. Couldn’t of picked a better place to have a stay-cation!! we only live 5miles down the road but it was the perfect getaway for my Aunt and I. We extended our stay for another day.

No dining in the hotel except for breakfast. It was difficult for my handicap Aunt to get to the restaurant across the street. Thank goodness for Scott at the front desk offering us a wheelchair. which was a big help but not so easy getting throu the big cracks on walkway going into the restaurant. She actually fell out of the chair with us trying to get the wheels out of the cracks.

We did not have breakfast there. What I liked about the Chateau Renault was the friendliness and knowledge of the staff. The feeling of tranquility that you got as you walked around the property, and the attractive and creative landscaping e.g using wine barrels for sculptures. I will be back to do a tour of the winery and wine tasting.

Food costs are a little high.

The hotel was great, room was huge and clean. The bed was comfy. So my star review is for hotel not winery

The actual winery was a huge disappointment. The food- if that was what it was called was atrocious. It felt like a sports bar with the staff wearing baseball caps and no knowledge of the food they were serving. Went in to do a wine tasting and they just brought us plastic cups and didn't have anyone to tell us about the wine. So so disappointing.

Iam a single mom of two nearly adult teenager boys. My boys and I needed a last minute end of summer break from NY state. This was our first trip to NJ. This was a very “lucky” find. I can’t believe the difference in cost from this location when compared to those just fifteen minutes drive away. We were close enough to everything I hoped to do and we were able to experience five different beaches ( one for each of our five day stay). There are plenty of restaurants nearby as well as the breakfast place and dinner place right at the hotel. The pools were a great bonus. The room was huge! About twice the size of many we have stayed in before… And if we needed towels or washcloths or soap or even ice all we had to was ask. The staff were all smiles all the time.

There was no microwave on property for use by us. Not in the rooms and not out in the lobby like in some hotels we have stayed in. This is a big deal if you are trying to stay on a budget. The fridge in the room did not have a freezer. It is a true mini fridge. That is also inconvenient if you want to keep ice packs for the cooler frozen. We drove about six hours both ways so bringing a cooler with ice was what I considered necessary. Also I would recommend pamphlets in the main lobby about things to do and places to go locally. If we did not know something we had the ability to look it up on cell phone or computer, but some people don’t have these luxuries.

Clean comfy room. It was available immediately upon our arrival which was hours before check in. Very friendly helpful staff. Loved the little gift shop. The restaurant was exactly what I was hoping for, diverse menu and great atmosphere that you can sit and enjoy drinks and food for hours inside and outside.

No blackout curtains in the room. It’s kind of in the middle of nowhere. I wasn’t bothered by it and preferred it but if you are staying for more than a few days, it’s not really near anything. It’s 1/2 hour to AC. It’s almost entirely geared towards hosting weddings, so if you’re looking to go for a weekend away (I went midweek), it’s probably booked and if it’s not you’ll be in the middle of multiple wedding parties.

I had never been here before but everything is clearly recently redone, it is gorgeous! The whole property, the winery, the hotel itself, pool area, lobby, our room, AND the staff all exceeded our expectations :) It was beautiful, clean, and quiet. We will definitely be back!

Our room was clean, quiet, and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful.

Our room was very bright….even at night. Restaurant at the hotel didn’t open until 8:00am. That’s a little late for travelers. Breakfast was mediocre. Even though we were the only guests in the dining area, our server seemed to rush us through our meal. Our plates were taken away before we were finished eating.

Beautiful grounds. Loved that everywhere through out the resort/room was very clean! 2 bed Queen room was very spacious w/small refrig. Room also had USB plugs👍 Front desk & Staff were very pleasant, helpful and accommodating! Winery facilities across the street was absolutely beautiful, a must see!

No food or drink service at the pool. Also, not enough lounge chairs. No late night food options, restaurant closes around 7pm. Wifi, for us, was very spotted, slow or would not connect. Also, we had to keep signing back in to try and use.

Price was right for a quick get away. Very clean. Light and airy. Friendly staff at the front desk. Comfortable beds. It was lovely to see weddings going on . And the hotel clearly tries to have entertainment each night which is an absolute plus ..the champagne terrace was lovely place to have it weather permitting

No lid on the toilet in the room! The place felt widespread, and empty in a way..lacked ambience, clearly being renovated ..although that did not bother us On one evening ..too many people in the pool..and sporting cocktail glasses..not good
