Marriott's Fairway Villas

This was our first time at Marriott's Fairway Villas and we were really impressed. We stayed in the area called Amelia (also our daughter's name). Rooms were clean, spacious and functional. The kitchen area was fully stocked with essentials with a supermarket only a 5 min drive away. We used both pools (the outside pool is awesome with a splash area as well) and our kids took part in the children activities each morning. We used it as a base to go sight seeing in the afternoon/evening and there are lots of hidden gems and places to visit. Honestly this resort exceeded our expectations for a family holiday and we are already planning the same trip next year.

Some guest were still smoking close or near to the apartments even though there were signs and a designated smoking area. We loved the fire pits for smores and marshmallows but they were usually occupied so get there early. The on-site resort shop is very expensive, better to drive off-site to get items if you can.

The property is very nice in a quiet location. The resort is close to stores and essential businesses. Also very close to Atlantic City for nightlife without having to stay in the city.

The only con I would say is they keep the hallway to the rooms very cold, however you can control the temperature in your room.

It was off the main road and the buildings were so pretty and updated. Everything was so clean and the villas were roomy and comfortable for our party of 6 adult friends for our reunion weekend. Everything was provided and the front desk staff were so friendly and accommodating.

The only thing they need is a restaurant and bar on property. In the summer months there is a restaurant/bar by the outdoor pool.

I loved how the room looked, was very clean and it’s definitely a nice place for friends to have a mini getaway vacation. We plan to come back for the summer! Also loved that the TV came with apps such as YouTube and Netflix.

I wish there were separate pools/jacuzzis for adults and children. I also wish there was a bar.

had a lot of stuff that you wouldn’t get in a regular room. for example an entire kitchen, i’ve never seen that before. it’s like i booked an air bnb for the price of a hotel room. will definitely be back.

elevator needs a little remodeling. would make a lot of uncomfortable sounds.

Property is beautiful and they offer a lot to do. The villas were immaculate. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen well supplied. Fires at night were really nice.

One particular group of other guests. There was a party going on, when we came back from a wedding our room smelt like cheap bad pot from the party. The smell cleared out once we opened the windows. They sounded like they were having a good time so we didn’t complain to front desk. But The party peeps were up early in the am having a good time but slamming doors, kids crying etc.. loud talking and just not being mindful off the time of night. They finally stopped at 3 am but the night was tough we have two kids older kids with us that didn’t sleep well do to it.

The rooms were beautiful and big with everything you need!

The hot tub was out of service I was kinda looking forward to that because I am recovering from having a hip replacement so I wanted to get in for relaxation on the hip.

Ilene put me on hold for 3 minutes when I requested a late check-out just to come back and say No. A little bit of back and forth and me asking to speak to a manager she put on hold again for 2 minutes this time finally she said I can have a late check out meanwhile I have stayed at this properly more than 15 times in the last 4 years and never had a problem requesting a late checkout. I was disappointed with ilene's customer service towards a frequent customer

The staff was very polite especially housekeeping the only downfall was little gnat in the hallways and cashless hotel, I prefer using cash than my credit card, front desk was awesome

The rooms were perfect for a family of five! The space for everyone was great!

The pool and hot tub were a bit dirty. We went to go sit in the hot tub and there was a lot of hair, bugs, etc. floating around.
