Residence Inn by Marriott Jersey City

The room was modern, the included breakfast was good and the gym was pretty good for a hotel gym and it overlooks with a street view which is nice. I liked that the room had a pull-out tv, desk space, King bed, modern shower, and basically a full kitchen with a full-size fridge not a mini fridge. Also everything was pretty clean. Also the location is pretty nice near a parking garage, a Starbucks and a pharmacy.

Price seemed a little high for one night, there weren't enough towels in the room, I could hear people from other rooms through the walls, lack of room service options, I got asked 4 times in the span of 30 minutes for housekeeping even though I asked them to come back later and one housekeeper tried barging in and that was annoying.

The location and the employees are nice . Rooms are great also . And the market downstairs is great.

There’s no hotel parking. The parking is tedious and expensive. If you park in the Colombus garage, you are looking at $28 a day...that’s if you don’t take your car out once you parked. Be warned... I got charged $20 for parking 2 1/2 hrs like seriously. I’m sure there are other cheaper garages but that garage is just convenient. And I guess I was too lazy to drive around to look -_-

The hotel is well located, within easy walking distance of restaurants and whatever one might like to access in Jersey City. It was clean, and the hotel staff seemed to take covid concerns seriously. There were two elevators and a staircase, so it was, in our experience, not a problem avoiding other parties when trying to move between floors. The rooms had small kitchenettes (refrigerator, stove-burners, microwave - plus dishes and a few pots/pans), which would come in handy if someone is planning a longer stay. The free wifi worked fine, in both the room and the lobby.

Our stay was very brief, so we brought very little luggage. For guests who are planning a lengthier stay of several weeks, however, there might not have been enough closet space to accommodate two people's clothing.

excellent location next to subway station for easy access to Manhattan. jersey City a pleasant and peaceful area. all the benefits of New York with a little peace and quiet.

I liked that it was very safe and located at a great place a lot around it

the shower I think I had a handy cap room the water while showering ran dead into the floor soaked the whole bathroom up

It is just near the path. A lot of food is located around.

The AC for large room is not working well, although we changed the room

Other than stain on bed skirt the room as well as hotel itself was very clean and well taken care of. Modern design. Convenient market next store with a ton of food options available.

Rooms were clean, Breakfast was pretty good. Location was great!

Too noisy at night

Location! Great food choices in the area.

I was looking forward to a hot breakfast but was surprised at the somewhat continental breakfast. Then I realized that it was probably due to CoVID. Happy that you all made changes during the pandemic & thought about the safety of your guests.

I love the refrigerator and kitchenette in my room!

I didn’t like that there was no parking and I had to use public parking and the room and bar views are of the street.
