A new establishment. The both the external and interior designs are very good. The Inn is in a beautiful rural setting just outside of the town with fields and woods not far. The estate is quiet and peaceful. The room is spacious and bed comfortable. It was a cold night but the heat came on through the radiators.
The owners/staff were away during check-in hours. But we happened to run into Vaslof who was very nice and helped us checked in. We later ran into the owners at different occasions: one who was doing yard work and the other during the breakfast. I wish to have more interactions with the owners as it is part of B&B experience. Also, when we booked the room on booking.com, some of the information on the website and what we got from the Inn had discrepancies. It has caused some unnecessary misunderstanding which later were clarified.

We've stayed for a longer period before, this time we just did an overnight. Even one night here for a quick getaway is wonderful. Room was great as is the staff, breakfast is top notch and cooked for you in the morning. Love the sauna, and encourage you to try it with the cold plunge as a great way to help with both physical and mental wellness.
There's really nothing to not like to be honest, grounds are beautiful, as is the historic house and the rooms in the renovated barn suites are great as well.

I loved the Estate - beautifully maintained. The sauna and hot tubs were a nice surprise. Loved the hidden Zen Den and chickens.
My room #3 - did not have a shower- we had a beautiful room / bathroom with a clawfoot tub with a hand held shower attachment. Usually an afternoon wine & cheese or snack provided- kinda disappointed not offered.

The history of the house and farm are fascinating. Our room was spacious and attractive. The breakfast was very enjoyable. Our host, Sebastian, was very personable. The location was a short drive to downtown. The video-guided check-in was clever and efficient. The grounds are very well maintained. It was very quiet at night.
Sound goes through the walls very easily. A ceiling mounted light interfered with our watching the TV.

Chimney Hill was a great place to spend 2 nights over the July 4th weekend. The staff were very responsive and we enjoyed a lovely freshly cooked breakfast both mornings. We especially loved our room, Colonial 5, tucked away in its own wing for privacy. The bed was also super comfortable!

The building was well-maintained, charming and clean. The owner, Sylvester, was pleasant and very accommodating. Our room was also clean and well-supplied. Sylvester made breakfast for the guests: Belgium waffles with fresh fruit and avocado toast with eggs cooked to order. We had nice conversations with other guests during our stay. Would visit again.
Nothing comes to mind

The breakfast was fresh, healthful, tasty and professionally prepared and served at an exceptionally pleasant dining area and table. The food was organic and the eggs were from chickens raised at the location, fresh and tasty. The food was pleasantly presented. The coffee was terrific. The ambiance was friendly, cozy, authentic and welcoming. I have only experienced this kind of breakfast in European Countryside Inns, wonderful!

Glad to see new owners working extremely hard to breathe new life into a former favorite place which had fallen on hard times. Marek and Sebastian have an exciting and relevant vision to make Chimney Hill a great place to relax, unwind, make new friends and for them to contribute to the community. Wishing them all the very best in their endeavor and we will be back there very soon!
will reserve my opinion for after our next stay. They have made significant progress in a very short time to renovate the property- still some things need tending to, but I am confident they will be taken care of by the time of our next stay.

Gorgeous, property that made you feel very comfortable and right at home. The owners were both extremely kind and informative and made our family feel welcome. We did not get a chance to use the sauna but did use the hot tubs and my six year old daughter LOVED being under the stars at night.
That we couldn’t stay longer.

Amazing fresh breakfast, owner brought it to our room even because we were in a rush! Amazing location, close to Lambertville downtown . Very Friendly staff. Beautiful grounds, it's a bed and breakfast but felt like a mini luxury resort. Literally felt like a paradise. Only stayed one night but will be back in the future.
Nothing. Everything was simply amazing.
