Howard Johnson by Wyndham Toms River

We had nice clean room and bathroom was also clean. It is good place to stay for short time. There was pool and water was nice and warm. You also will get small breakfast options - you can make waffles and quick oats and if you are lucky there might be granola bars and bakery.

Our room faced the road and it got really cold at night when radiator was off. Radiator made quite a noise. One of our doorcards did not work and hotel was far from bus station.

The room were clean, location Felt safe, accommodations were appropriate and the staff attempted to be helpful where possible.

The neighboring room was loud and kept us from sleeping multiple times thru the stay. Staff could not correct the issue, and the hotel was fully booked but they tried.

The front desk girl who checked us in, went above and beyond, it was quite busy when I first walked in, and she handled multitasking very well, the room was as sweet, and it honestly went above and beyond in what I expected, I slept very comfortably, and breakfast was fairly nice. Overall it was a very comfortable stay and I would highly recommend it.

Honestly I can't think of anything I didn't like, I think the only thing that I didn't like is the fact that it was so cold that night and it was so busy there that there was not close parking near the doors, but that's my problem and not yours, because it's a good thing that you guys are always busy, it just shows what a good business this is.

I like that they made sure we all had rioms next to each other and the 2 rooms I booked had adjoining doors. The pool is innit's own separate building.

The breakfast was minimal and we had to wait at least an half hour just to make 1 pancake and the dining area was way too hot. The bathtub and sink in our room did not drain properly and the bathroom door was broken. The rooms themselves were nice. Updated tvs would be a great asset.

The staff and Premises were clean and Quiet

The beds were awful spent the night tossing and turning and tried both beds The first beds mattress was so old I almost rolled out onto the floor and the had no cushioning or give when you laid down The 2nd beds mattress was just worn out not comfortable

I was not told, nor did I see a notice, that my room would not be cleaned unless I ASKED for it to be cleaned. Not a big deal, except I didn't have clean towels & washcloths. If this was their policy, it should have been posted in plain site, as well as told to me at time of check in. I had to ask for towels twice; the day before & the day I needed them.

The glass door that lead outside which is awesome that you don't have to walk the hall to go in or out. But the doors are so old the cold air comes right threw and no matter how high we put the heat it was cold. In there defense the weather was very cold it was 6 degrees that night and snowing

Good location and even though its right on a corner it was quiet.

Dont try to check in past 11-12 oclock. Computers go down After that time every night for maintenance and in my case my rate got screwed up because of that and had to pay $30 more but they said they’ll help me out next time in stay. Not really the properties fault I was driving 10 hours and hit traffic and arrived extremely late and I guess the head oh Howard Johnson or corporate is in control of that maintenance every night with the new owners and what not updating everything.

The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean

They made me leave a 100$ deposit I used my cash app debit card the lady told me it would be released at check I called at 7 pm to be told it can take upto 7 bus. Days

We were able to stay in one of the recently renovated rooms. Everything was clean and new. Love the fact that we can bring our fur baby and still enjoy staying at a reasonably priced hotel when we travel! The staff was great as well and the pool area was nice and clean! The staff even let me borrow a broom during our stay so that we were able to sweep up the room due to our muddy foot prints upon arrival!

They didn't have extra pillows for us, so next time we will have to bring them. 5 people, 4 pillows. The only issue with the room was that there was a lot of rain during our stay and when the roof would drain, it would cause a massive flood on our patio area, so we weren't able to enjoy that aspect much. I believe there is a hole in the gutter causing the rain to drain on our patio, instead of where it was supposed to. Can't wait until they are able to return to normal with the turn down service and breakfast!
