convenient, friendly staff, clean

that the lobby doors close at 8 pm and had to use the stairs no elevator and I am 2 months out from total knee replacement . the cost was more than my quoted price

The people were very friendly, the room was updated, clean and had all necessary amenities. The staff was very accommodating. It was nice that a coffee maker was available in the room. The shower was clean and the water pressure was perfect. It's nice that there was a pool. The hotel was in walking distance to the beach and boardwalk and food. It was a good buy overall. I also liked that the parking was monitored by the staff.

The breakfast was very lacking and the chairs by the pool were broken, but all very small items overall. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant experience.

Loved mostly everything honestly... the staff was super friendly and courteous.. they saw my toddler in the pool and asked if we wanted the pool heater on so he wouldn't be chilly which was very kind as it was only 73° out... they always provided us with extra towels and stuff for the room. Always greeted with warm smiles and lovely attitudes... you can smell how clean the property was as soon as you opened the door to the lobby. The beds were comfy and the pillows were actually decent . Great location. 2 blocks from the boardwalk by Adventure Pier. 2 blocks from family dollar for any needs. Honestly just great stay and dying to come back already !

Wasn't thrilled about the breakfast situation but it was free so we made it work. They didn't offer much other than toast, yogurt, cereal and coffee. Some muffins too. . The coffee on the other hand was great!!! I also didn't like that I had to use the room phone on speaker to call the front end because the buttons were missing. The walls are thin but we didn't hear much and my toddler slept through the night anyway. We had one day our water was running brown due to construction in the area but the staff DID make sure to let us know to run the water cold than warm before entering to clear out any dirtiness so I wasn't too concerned because it was only that one time .

Amazing location, room was super clean and updated. Beds were comfortable! Key access to get to your floor from outside stairwells was a nice security feature. Lobby was staffed at all times and they had Security cameras!

Parking, they use every inch for a parking space you can get easily parked in. If you need to go somewhere and park someone in, you are to give them your keys, hated it. Seen two drivers one hit a beam, the other into a metal post trying to back out.

The pool needs work. We went in and then realized that it had a lot of scum on the sides. This is understandable since 2 motels use the pool, and people are covered with suntan lotion. I watched the pool maintenance guy brushing the pool at 1 point and using the skimmer vacuum. May I suggest using something like Jack's Magic waterline and tile cleaner. It will help with the build up, reduce the amount if brushing and will not disrupt the pool chemistry.

This was off season so the price was good. The bed was comfortable & the shower had good pressure.It was clean. If you want to be near the boardwalk this location is perfect. The girl at the front desk was very nice. A bagged “breakfast “ was provided for each room which consisted of apple, banana, granola bar & 1 bottle of water. Coffee is available in the lobby.There is an elevator

The room (2 double beds) was very small. Really tight for even 2 people to walk around at the same time. You could hear everyone walking in the halls & doors closing. Wish there was a handrail in shower. Housekeeping doesn’t come in until after your stay so the beds weren’t made & we had requested more towels by leaving a note & so that didn’t happen. The Lobby door is locked at 8pm so you need to swipe your room key to get into the stairwell & walk up to your room. We were on 3rd floor. I see what others mentioned about parking issues. Not a problem for me staying in October but I can see how In season it could be a problem it appears there is not a spot for every room & it’s tight.

The staff was great; they were very helpful and pleasant. It was a busy weekend but they still took the time to help and provide feedback. The location was very close to the boardwalk and beach. If you know Wildwood most places are motels with rooms that open to the outside. This was more a hotel with the rooms within a hallway and an elevator (needed because my husband uses a wheelchair). Better than expected.

I don't really have any complaints. Clean room, great staff, close to local attractions.

The staff were fantastic! They had excellent customer service and even gave our children, our 3 year old, in particular, who was having a melt-down during checkin, a box of cereal— something they had on-hand quickly to try to calm her. This proved to me that they had a great heart for children! The location could not be beat! We parked our car and did not need it again until we checked out. The hotel was built in 2019. It was very new still when we visited in 2022. In fact, we loved the experience so much that we immediately booked next year’s family visit directly with the front desk!

We had a wonderful stay at The Waves. The property was well maintained and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful and went out of their way to accommodate us. It was much appreciated! The location was perfect for us...right near the boardwalk and beach so just a short walk to both.

Really nothing. It exceeded all of my expectations.

The manager, Andy, was so helpful when we arrived late at night on Easter Sunday and helped us access our room. The room was refreshingly clean and very comfortable with a tile floor and a walk-in shower - no rug or bedspread (big pluses)!

There was nothing disappointing about our stay...having either hot water or coffee available in the lobby would have been nice, but certainly not a requirement.
