Comfort Suites

Breakfast was good, there was a varied selection and the quality and quantity was fine. Location was good with easy access to the city. The work center was good with the computers, printer and internet access which enabled me to take care of a couple of quick tasks. The room received daily service and it was absolutely spotless! The cable service was upgraded during my stay which was very nice. The staff communicated the upgrade with the guests so it was not a surprise. Internet services were free and had substantial bandwidth.

As a guest that stayed there nearly a week, some variety in the daily hot food choices would be nice. The work center placement was a bit awkward in the open area by the dining area and front desk resulting in no privacy. The elevator was excruciatingly slow and was limited to 2 guests per lift. The parking lot was excellent, however the multiple signs that guests were parking there at their own risk were alarming. My rental vehicle was damaged in the lot (front grill) with what seemed to be a deliberate act of vandalism.

This hotel is very clean. From the carpet to the bedding, from bathroom to the hallway, I feel very clean. Elevator always smells a little bit sanitizer every time I stepped in. It’s a plus because covid and flu is not over yet. Staff is friendly and helpful. Location is quiet yet close to the center of the town, including all the shops, restaurants.

The hotel room is a little dark. After I turned on all six seven lights, the room is still quite dark. Bathroom tile is dark brown, add more darkness. Bathroom fan is a little too loud. Sink is outside bathroom. Maybe because it’s a handicapped room. I’m not used to it.

This hotel has been completely renovated so that it looks and feel new. The bonus, however, is that the rooms are much larger than rooms in comparable hotels, and are thus much more comfortable. Also, the free breakfast is excellent and, if you factor this into the price, the rates are extremely reasonable. I will return to this hotel.

Nothing disappointed me about this hotel, although Clovis, New Mexico is not a major tourist center. If you are traveling in this region, I can think of no better place to stay. If you're looking for major attractions, or entertainment, you might be disappointed.

The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable including 4 nicely sized pillows. The WiFi signal was strong. The oatmeal and fresh orange at breakfast were good. The variety of offerings at breakfast was generally quite good, including hot food - biscuits, omelettes, and potatoes.

The controls on the shower did not work well, especially the valve to switch the water from the bathtub faucet to the shower head. The only way I could get a decent spray and warm water was to turn the temperature control up all the way and then fiddle with it to get a reasonable flow of water from the shower head. There didn't seem to be a juice dispenser at breakfast.

The room was nice & big. Loved thecarch between the two sections. Bed nice soft & comfy. The lobby is very pleasant. Workers are nice and cool. Parking lot is good & lit up.

I think this hotel is fairly new, but the room (sitting area) furniture was used. Maybe to save money they purchased used. Took me awhile to find that the usb was in the clock. I don't like toilets that flush with the button on top, lol yuck. We prefer that the sink area is inside the bathroom, not out in the room next to the front door & closet. People in the room can see you brushing your teeth with your butt hanging out or other private things! Even just doing your hair or make up, I'd rather have privacy. Lol

The room was bigger than expected. The beds were spaced apart perfectly, and they were super comfortable. Big plus, I could see where my car was parked from the window in the room. The staff were very welcoming, and always had a smile when greeting me.

I didn't like that the bathroom sink was located in the room instead of the bathroom, but it didn't affect my stay or make me unhappy.

I chose to transfer to this property for 2 remaining nights of 3 night stay in Clovis because reviews mentioned comfortable mattresses, and the mattress in the first motel was much too firm for me. The bed was comfortable, room was clean, there was plenty of hot water, SHOWTIME on the TV. Good location off Prince Street.

I didn't like the thundering hooves of small children allowed to run wild around the hotel in the middle of the night! I'm talking 1am! The offending tykes were staying above my room and of course the sound was amplified in my ceiling and down the walls, and if that wasn't bad enough they came downstairs and ran up and down my hallway, pounded on my door several times, jiggled my door handle, then back upstairs for more and back downstairs etc, ad nauseum. The front desk clerk didn't answer the phone for several tries, frustrating, but he finally did and "took care of it" which lasted about an hour. I realize the motel isn't responsible for bad parenting and unruly children.. just my bad roll of the motel dice. Thanks for asking.

the property was very clean, staff was friendly. the room we stayed in was a suit and it was very big as described and was very clean.

the toilet when flushed made an extremely loud noise which I know is not the hotels fault it’s just when you flush the floor feels like it’s moving it didn’t do that in the other room we previously stayed in.

Everything was nice and clean and close by the building that I had an appointment at.

The shower was a handicapped shower for some reason and water would get all over. I didn’t request a handicapped shower but it’s ok. The thing I didn’t like were the people above us . They made so much noise late at night and very early in the morning so we didn’t get much sleep. Overall I liked the hotel. Everything was good except for the people above us.

The room was huge, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast and coffee were great!

We just couldn't get the room to a comfortable temperature. We had it set to 66 and my husband who is always cold, woke up sweating in the night. That is the only part of our stay that wasn't good.
