good budget hotel, safe, clean enough, no offensive odours. no frills facilities but at this price you aren't expecting anything fancy anyway. i don't have insane standards, and i'm working when i travel typically. just need steady wifi, relative safety for a solo traveller, a hot shower, and no pests. this hotel fit the bill. staff were great, free breakfast (nothing crazy but it's free food), free parking, safe location. was billed exactly what i saw on the website, no sneaky hidden charges like other hotels in the area.

bath products seemed to be mixed up (i had two shampoo and one body wash, no conditioner). a minor grievance. the fridge in my room was too cold (froze a can of soda which then exploded) and the dial wouldn't turn to adjust that.

Location was right off the highway with lots of conveniences close by, restaurants, Circle K convenience store and Walmart right behind the property. Staff was very accommodating the property was clean and well maintained. No Riff Raff hanging around felt completely safe! Continental breakfast was nice with make your own waffles and attendant was very attentive!🙂Came for an NMSU campus visit we will be back in June and will stay here again. Coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave in room was a huge Plus!

Not a thing to complain about.

Location right off I10 near places to eat and Walmart if need supplies. It was clean. However, the staff was the most hard working, pleasant and friendly. They went above and beyond. The young man at the desk went to the trouble of finding a stopper for the tub so my elderly mother could bathe. He was prompt and so gracious. The young man stationed at the desk in the morning had the breakfast ready a whole hour early so we did not have to stop somewhere for breakfast! Amazing, hard working young people.

The bed was good. The bathroom was fine. The room was as expected this being our 4th stay here. The staff have always been friendly and helpful for all our stays here. The hotel was close to the Las Cruces Hot-air Balloon Fiesta which is why we were there.

I really don't like the single-serve coffee that is in the room. The wi-fi is slow and can cause streaming and uploading problems.

Las Cruces was a waypoint for me on a motorcycle trip to California. I was looking for a place to stay that was close to the freeway, close to a gas station, close to a restaurant. The La Quinta in Las Cruces met all those criteria. The staff is friendly and competent. The free breakfast was enough to get me through the day. And, my room was clean. For my purposes, this place was darn near perfect!

The nice thing about our stay was that the hotel was very quiet. I was beginning to wonder if we were the only ones on the floor but there were other people around, we just didn’t hear them. The room was adequate. The beds were comfortable and clean, I liked that the hotel property was gated off and near many eating places and a Walmart.

The hotel needs some cleaning and remodeling. The room we stayed in had a not-so-nice smell when we entered the room. I think if it wasn’t for that smell, we would have had a nice stay. I even tried spraying the room but no luck. The bed skirts looked like they hadn’t been washed in awhile, the furniture surfaces were still sticky, and the tub looked like it wasn’t cleaned.

The hotel is basic but nothing essential is missing. Fast internet available, room daily cleaned and tided up, helpful staff, room equipped with fridge, coffee machine and microwave. I would surely come back.

Air conditioning is old and very noisy. It seems that it does not modulate the temperature, it just go maximum cooling for a certain time, then stops.

The hotel is a little older, but it was clean. The staff was super friendly. The breakfast was good. The breakfast was your standard continental breakfast, but it was good enough. The hotel is within walking distance of a Cracker Barrel, Walmart, and Circle K. It's very close to the freeway and was super convenient for our trip to Hatch for the chili festival.

Since the hotel is a little older, the carpet could use a good deep cleaning or upgrade. The pool looked a little dirty. However, there've been storms in the area and I wouldn't expect clear water.

I was looking for a place to stay for one night after I visited White Sands National Monument. This was perfect. Quiet, convenient, and Cracker Barrel next door, it checked all the boxes.

The fan on the heat/air conditioning unit ran all night. I would have liked to turn it off but could not. I guess I could have called the front desk but it wasn't that much of a nusiance.

Room very clean and comfortable . Used onsite pool it was exceptionally cold but clean . Breakfast good choice of cereals , yoghurt, breads or bagels spreads or waffles you could make your own .Boiled eggs . Used the guest laundry - washer / dryer . Coin operated or you can down load an app and pay online . Walked to local Mexican diner 6 min away for dinner .

The fire alarm went off three times in the morning just as my husband was about to get into the shower . It didn’t last long each time but he gave up trying to shower in the end !
