Holiday Inn Hazlet, an IHG Hotel

What breakfast charges extra $4 for a tiny cup of coffee. Food Ok, but not worth $10 if coffee is extra charge. Would not do again !!

I really liked the space I had in my room. I felt relaxed and comfy.

The front desk gave people my personal information without my consent. I specifically told them to ask the intruders to leave and yet instead they were allowed to stay and continually bothered me until one of them was “harrasing other guests” in which they were finally asked to leave ALONG with me because I was linked to them apparently. This very much let me down.

Staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating and very very clean .

all the rooms don t have closed caption on the tvs. I have never been to a hotel where they didn t have close caption . I believe it is a law that hotels must offer it . I am deaf in one ear and have used closed caption for at least 25 years . they told me only the new tvs have closed caption . the tvs looked all the same . I believe any tv can have closed caption as long as you have cable. they are all flat screen so they can t be that old . I was upstate in a cabin last year and they had one of those big old tvs snd it had closed caption on it . they did find a tv snd brought it to my room . but for the future I dont want to go through that waiting for hours to get comfortable.

Size of the room, comfort of the bed and cleanliness.

Front staff were not on the same page very confusing booking a extra night. Got locked out of my room. The toilet ran non stop, very annoying. Maid service 1st morning woke me up 9:30 to clean was not checking out for 3 more nights.

The pool area was just perfect, of course like with everything, a little wear and tear but great for the family. Check in with Jennifer was great, pleasant and very professional. Check out with Cassidy and the manager was quick and painless. The rooms were very clean and confortable. All the staff, specially the cleaning crew was very accommodating with all of our need. Central location with lots of shops, and places to eat. Over all, we give our stay a 10. Thanks again for you hospitality :)

Not enough areas designated for smokers.

Room was very clean, and while yes this was a roadside motel at some point (walls are still stucco) the updated decor was nice, bathroom was spacious, toiletries were nice and we were impressed by having fridge, keurig, and micro in our room for the price.

The vent in the bathroom was dusty, the bed was a bit saggy on the edges and the vending machines were out of many of the listed offerings, but it still met and even exceeded our expectations for the price.

Rooms were large, clean, and beds very comfortable, towels a good size, not skimpy. Very nice pool and exercise room.

Only 1 elevator, near front desk. Quite a labyrinth of rooms, so you could spend quite awhile dragging your suitcase from one end to the other if your room was upstairs in the back section and you needed the elevator. An older property, but well maintained. Not sure there’s anything they can do about the elevator situation.

Beds were comfy .

Check in is at 3 pm , I got there about 10 mins after ,they never finished cleaning tilll 445 ,no pool , no resturaint like advertisted , one door working that was front door . Very disappointed being it's a Holiday Inn. I expected more from them. Then check out is at 11 , they started knocking at 10 for ppl to leave.

There was no breakfast, I think there was one for an extra $12.00. The location was good, about 5 miles away from the family we were visiting.

There is only one thing that could have made it better. Although we had a Keurig in the room, we would have loved to have been offered fresh coffee downstairs but there was only a Nescafe machine.

I have stayed at this Holiday Inn quite a few times. The location of my room this time was pretty bad. Room 126 which was near the laundry room and an Exit Door. At 6:30am we heard people next to us ( through the wall by the sink) adults and kids screaming and banging on the wall. We could hear people going in and out of the exit door. I will never stay in that room again. I do wish they would put more wash cloths, hand towels and bath towels i the bathroom.
