My partner and I loved this place. It's a converted historic home divided into suites with modern furnishings. With respect to the suites, there is ample space for more than two people. You can fit three or four people if you use the pull out couch bed. There is also a large kitchen for cooking, and the place is close to two convenience stores in case you need anything. Though, I do recommend a car if you want to venture outside of Hudson's main drag (Warren Street).

If you are coming here during the winter, be aware that the window insulation is not the best. But there are several heaters (both space heaters and heaters for the room).

Location an easy walk from Amtrak station as well as shopping and dining. We used the sofa bed which we found to be one of the best quality and most comfortable we’ve ever experienced in our travels.

Floors creaky at times but you have to accept this character flaw given the age of the building. Noise from the suite above also noticeable at times. Overall we loved our room - ground floor unit #1.

Great location. Walkable to restaurants, and shops. Train station is also walkable. hotel is a old historical house beautifully decorated. Very clean and comfortable. Very cute. Parking was easy especially on busy Warren Street.

With any old historical house you will have drafts (old windows), but additional heater and fan was provided in the room which made up for the drafts. Walls are not fully insulated, so you can hear foot steps above.

Loved this hotel. Great design and the rooms were very spacious, ideal for family trips. The location was great too, close to the river and on the main street of Hudson. The beds were big and very comfortable.

There was noise coming from the air system which was on all night (even in off mode) and became quite annoying.

Hudson is a town of two halves. it gave the clear impression of being a neighbourhood on the up but just one block away from the delightful and very cool Main Street is an area that is more socially challenged. Everyone was lovely but it didn’t feel like an area you could aimlessly wander around late at night.

Beds were comfortable. Close to our venue. Master bedroom was big. Room for 4 people good except for the bathroom

Pricey. Couldn’t control the temperature of the room. Bathroom was small especially for 4 people. Room above our room was super loud stomping around could hear everything.

Very comfortable beds and clean and cosy. Temperature was good. Eating locally was easy. Easy to find and walkable to and from the train station.

Self catering. Some proper cups for the coffee machine as the paper ones soon soaked through. Also more milk would have been nice, four vials for two people for three nights was a bit tight.

Room was very spacious and comfortable overall. The back porch and backyard were a nice extra. Parking was no problem & location by the river was great.

The a/c was rather noisy.

Location was nice and the building itself was lovely.

Shared thermostat and very hot at night. No one could sleep well. Beds were very comfortable but the pillows should not even be called pillows.

Rooms were excellent as was the shared lounge area. Very easy check in with clear instructions and overall communication.

It was a shame that despite their being a fully functional kitchen with a stove, oven and a complete crockery set that you aren't allowed to cook there. Only a small thing but would have bumped the 9 to a 10.
