Decent room for the price. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Good water pressure and hot water. Fridge and microwave in the room. Big ice machine if you need to fill a cooler. I'll assume her gender and say the gal at the front desk was very nice. Seems like a safe neighborhood.

Pool was closed. Wifi didn't reach my room near the end. Busy street with traffic noise. Coffee maker in the lobby but no coffee in the morning.

I liked that even though it was a motel I felt like I was in a hotel setup as a motel the room was spacious, the bed was comfortable. It was a good place to put your head down for the night

The room was really cold when I got there there's no central air. the air conditioner/heater was running straight from the outside so since it was really cold outside, it warmed up a bit but stayed cold in my room all night and I actually brought my own blankets in. and the tv remote didn't work. no access to cable

The owners were kind and the room was as advertised and larger than I expected. The beds were very comfortable. The area is a bit older but does not feel unsafe. Very happy with the room for the price that I paid.

The cabinets and some interior doors seem home made and the room strongly smelled of lumber. Overall a very minor complaint and would not prevent me from staying again.

The room was clean and comfortable. I liked the fridge and the microwave. The bed was quite comfortable. The staff gave me a main floor room with a king bed as per my request. They were very efficient at check-in and helpful.

They used to serve a breakfast included but no longer do so.

I liked that the staff was friendly and my room was clean. I also liked that I was able to bring my dog for a small fee.

What I didn’t like was that there wasn’t a breakfast but understand because of maybe with covid. I also was disappointed because there wasn’t even a coffee pot in the room and the location where the hotel is was, there was slot od traffic you can hear

Price: nearby is a LaQuinta for over $200/night, +$40 pet fee, in the city. Here, less than $100/night, $10 pet fee, on the ground floor, close to restaurants, etc. Very pleasant and accomodating staff. Especially considering the Wuhan virus situation, this is clearly the optimal choice. As we visit the area at least annually, we will be staying here in the future.

A little dated, but so what?

Very wonderful place to stay. I’ve been here for almost one month now due to me having to wait for my house to close that I purchased and could not think of a better place. Staff is wonderful!! They do not bother you unless you need something. The facilities are accommodating being that they are very close to everything. The bed is very comfortable unlike some places that I have stayed at in the past. This will be the only hotel/motel that I will ever stay at in Jamestown if I ever need to stay. Thank you Colony Motel for allowing my four legged fur baby to stay with me. I am so glad that you are pet friendly because I would not stay off they were not pet friendly. You guys rock 🤗

Location was perfect for the attractions we were there to see. The price was excellent. Tim was clean. Staff was pleasant and helpful.
