Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino

This is my 3rd year in a row staying at the casino for my vacation. It's always fun and relaxed. Everything is very clean.

I pay more for the kingsize room because there is normally a small couch in it. This year the couch wasn't there even though the picture of the room showed it. I explained to the front desk that I had a bad back and couldn't sleep the full night on the bed. She claimed it was due to remodeling even though the room I was in looked the same as the years before minus the couch. She didn't offer to fix my problem, I had to ask for a rollout cot and then she informed me I had to pay for it. So what was I supposed to do at that point? Not get sleep on my vacation? Or pay more money on top of the $500 bill?

The hotel is very nice and cared for well. We enjoy staying there. The casino is clean and has a great atmosphere. The employees at the hotel and casino are friendly and courteous. I lost my necklace and it was found by staff at casino, so I was elated I got it back before departing!

I can't think of anything that I can write about that would be negative. Possibly the only thing that could change up would be the restaurants staying open later, but it might be difficult to find help for longer hours and depending on how busy and late customers choose to dine.

We had all of our meals at the resort. Service was excellent. Friendly, courteous staff.A great menu selection and the portions were bountiful and were very tasty. The casino portion was also good. There was a lot of various machines to choose from and loved the fact that were able to play for a while. We also used the pool and hot tub which were both very clean and excellent. Overall for us a great clean place to spend a few nights and close to enough to experience more of New York State.

A bit remote but we knew that before heading out.

I liked the location it’s beautiful. the room was spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable. staff was quick to get us extra towels and toilet paper.

we ate at the buffet which was surprisingly not good. nothing looked fresh. the food looked dry and tasted even worse. I left hungry. we ordered breakfast in room the next morning and everything but the pancakes were ok. the pancakes were dry, had an awful taste and were not consumed by either one of us. the adult hours at the pool doesn’t exist. unfortunately there were kids in the hot also so we didn’t even try to enjoy it that night. I didn’t know the inside hot tub was covered up under a wood platform. very disappointing.

Room was large, comfortable, and very quiet. I heard no neighbors next door or in the halls. Toiletries smelled wonderful, and the best part was the tall showerhead so my 6'2" boyfriend could fit under it. The cafe is open 24 hours, we had chicken wings, club sandwich, pretzel bites, onion rings. All delicious.

The layout of the building in general is a little winding and circuitous. It's a bit of a walk from the parking garage as well. It's not really convenient to much if you're not going to gamble.

We originally planned to stay 3 nights here. But because of an unexpected snowstorm, we had to come back home while we still had access to the city. The hotel staff was so helpful and understanding of our situation that they let us check out after hours without charging for that day. I cannot thank them enough for putting our safety first. Even if we had to cut our vacation short, we had an amazing time while staying here. It was very nice to have different restaurant and bar options inside the building, they all were easily accessible from our room. The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the room service was fast and tasty. The casino is always open and it is so much fun!

The food was excellent at the buffet and room service breakfasts was excellent and the portions were big very filling!

The floors in our room was not very clean the floors in the bathroom looked a little dirty and the entrance into the room the carpeting was gummy feeling. I know we were in a smoking room but they should take the carpeting out and put in some kind of vinyl flooring so it can mopped. The bedding was clean and the toilets were clean. Mirror in room was not clean.

Breakfast was fantastic. Every morning. I don't know how you screw up breakfast but people have in the past but the casino was excellent. Staffed appropriately only wait 5 to 10 minutes for breakfast

Could have won some money. From now on I'm not going to sign in with your card I don't want them to connect my account to my gambling. Technically they will be able to see how I gamble how much money I take out of their Bank machine, based on my reservations they know when I leave. And I don't know what other controls they may have but I do know the day before I left I lost all my money rapidly. You smell what I'm cooking? I think it's fixed very little of it is random since they have all the information they need. And information is power over my money. Some of us think!

Everything was very good. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, the linens lovely, the bathroom roomy, nice shower, nice amenities, quiet air conditioning, nice forest view. The buffet was very well presented and well prepared. Lots of good choices. Surprisingly both fish selections were moist and flaky and my husband loved the prime rib

The broadloom in our room looked well worn. Were surprised and disappointed we could not order a glass of wine with our meal.

The rooms are clean and very welcoming. Wonderful view from the window. Loved the shower. The front desk staff made us feel very welcome. The restaurants and shops have the same friendliness with a good choice of food.

The casino is set up very well and is very enjoyable. The only thing I did not like, there is now a strong smell of cigarette smoke that filters out for the smoking allowed casino room. I have not noticed that on previous visits.
