The B&B was excellent for a good nights rest and a quick bite to eat before heading off into the city. It’s in a residential area that is quiet but can become a bit lively at night due to the stunning views of the city. The owner was very nice and accommodating. I arrived a lot sooner than planned and he had a room available for me. Breakfast was very minimal with things like Bananas cereal and amazing croissants. One day there were some muffins, another day there was raisin bread. Overall it holds you over until you find actual breakfast. The coffee was very good as well. All in all it’s a great place to stay.

I was suppose to have an AC unit & didn’t. I would bring a fan with me if I make my way to the city again. I’d also recommend updating the shower heads.

This is a great place to stay if you are visiting the NYC area. The price is great and the location has a great view of the river and city skyline. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The continental breakfast was great to me. The coffee was hot, fresh and tasted great and the pastry served was delicious. I will definitely stay again if I came to NYC.

Continental breakfast of fruits and pastries, cheese and croissants, cereals milk, tea and coffee. The location was superb, right on the water front with outstanding views over the river to Manhattan. A short walk to shops , delis, coffee shop and more plus buses to Staten Island ferry. Moe, the owner was the epitomy of a good host. He was helpful and informative and was keen to know you were enjoying your stay. The TV reception was good and the wi-fi was excellent. The bed was the comfiest I have slept in in a long while. The property is also in a quiet, safe residential area so sleep came easily.

Waking up with Coffee & prime views, History filled location. Made possible to introduce my wife to New York City proper way slowly not to much at once. Cash always king easy booking around the block all retail and restaurant accommodations parking no issues, We got a lot done in NYC in short time with amazing experience never once worried about where we stayed. 17 years later dream of introducing my wife to BIG APPLE WORKED OUT EXACTLY HOW I WANTED. I'll always recommend this place and be its guest. Thank you for your time.

The view from the front room with Private bathroom is excellent. Having a private bathroom was a true bonus. The check in process was flexible. The innkeeper was a very accommodating and helpful host. There is a modest offering of food in the mornings. The space is exactly what I needed.

Room cleaning attention to detail was not up to standard. There was left over food and medication left behind on my fridge. The winter time is very hot in the house, it's an old house so the boiler system is not zoned, that's OK. Just know, as a traveler you'll need to open a window to cool the room down in the winter.

Great location and access to many arrears. 3-4 minutes to the bus stop and a few minutes by bus to the ferry. Ferry takes about 30 minutes to Manhattan. The Bed and Breakfast is next to Hudson River,and at night Manhattan skyline is brilliant and beautiful to see.

The room was spacious. Just feel that the carpet needs changing also the couch is won out but apart from that everything is fantastic, really enjoyed my stay here.

as one can see from the photograph it is a very big house that has been around for a while. That said, our bed was very comfortable and the shower and bathroom were great. Radiator heating was excellent. Mo, the proprietor, was very helpful. We originally booked a shared bath room but I called and asked for a attach bath which he quickly provided for an additional charge. It is a 2 mile drive from the Staten Island ferry where there is parking especially on weekends. The ferry is free and drops you write a battery park in the city. It is definitely something to experience. Our room had an outstanding view of the Hudson River and the New York City skyline. Lots of free parking on the street and a safe neighborhood.

+ View. Awesome view on Manhattan and Staten Island bridge. + Location. Peaceful area, no crazy addicted people as in Manhattan. Less weed smell. Close to the national museums.

- No isolation. We had Only fans model in a room behind us. It was impossible to stay inside the whole house due to her "working shift". - Breakfast. Light breakfast (bread with jam and coffee). - Communication. The hotel didn't reply to my requests. Poor communication.

Although I did not get to stay for breakfast, I had a great one night stay here. The caretaker was incredibly kind and upgraded my room free of charge upon arrival. Although there is only street parking, there was ample availability. The room itself was very clean and had a stunning view of the harbor and city. I slept with the windows open and got to listen to the waves crash against the shore all night! For the price, location, and customer service, I would absolutely stay again.
