Quality Inn near MCAS Cherry Point

The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Good water pressure in the shower. The bed was comfortable, but the bed squeaked every time you sat down or got up (probably needs new box springs). We wished they had not put a family with a small baby right next to us because the baby cried - a lot - at night and the walls were thin, The hotel wasn't full and they could have put them down the hall. We didn't want to move because we were only there a few days and we had already unpacked. We also didn't want to inconvenience the folks with the baby - so we endured. The breakfast was typical of hotel breakfasts - my husband ate something from there each morning, but being diabetic, I did not - I brought my own because I knew that would be the case. You can't expect them to cater to every one's special needs. We enjoyed our stay and had a great time walking the beaches - Fort Macon Beach, Atlantic Beach, Salter Path Beach, Emerald Isle Beach. We would have explored more of the mainland area if we'd had more time.

The property in location we’re good having a pool there was amazing

We upgraded our room to have a spa tub but couldn’t even use it because it was filthy. The spa jets looks like they hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time when we turned it on it blew out tons of dirt and dust so we weren’t able to use it so the money we paid to upgrade it was useless 

The setting was good for us... Far enough away from Atlantic Beach and Morehead City so it's quieter but close enough to be convenient. The room was exceptionally clean.

The room was not ready at the time stated within the booking.com app or the hotels' website. It was a bit disappointing. Not a trip ruiner but not a plus.

The staff was helpful & friendly. The toilet in our bathroom was stopped up & the receptionist couldn't get up with the maintenance man, so she was going to fix it herself, but something broke through & everything was fine.

The floors were extremely dirty, as they hadn't been mopped in awhile.

My dad and I are driving down to Florida and just needed somewhere to sleep for the night from having started up north. We arrived at 1:30am to check-in and the front desk was kind & quick in getting our key cards - which was appreciated considering the long drive we'd just done! All we wanted was a comfy & clean place to fall asleep and that's exactly what we got. Beds were really comfortable and clean. Bathroom was clean and stocked with appropriate amount of towels and soap. Room also came with coffee maker, mini fridge, and microwave too. If you're on a long road trip and just need somewhere to crash for the night, this is a great option! It was also near some restaurants/fastfood, gas stations, and Walgreens - perfect for stocking up for the rest of a roadtrip.

Price was a little above my comfort zone for a 1-night stay but considering the property was clean and met my standards, I can't complain too much!

The staff was really nice and helpful throughout our stay. We had the king room on the second floor and it was very clean when we got there. Some reviews complained of the hotel not having elevators but honestly it wasn’t a big deal to us. There is a vending machine and ice available on the 2nd floor. The communal areas downstairs were very well kept and the pool was open. I do wish check in was earlier than 3, had we not had plans we could’ve enjoyed the pool, it looked like fun! Having the fridge and microwave in the room was very convenient. I was really shocked at how great of a value this was and we booked so last minute. It’s a little longer of a drive from the beach but the value was unbeatable for this area. Well worth it, we will absolutely be back!

Only one juice on the machine was working at the time, it was supposed to have 4 juices to choose from. We also had to pick up separate brown bag breakfasts that consisted of a couple little frozen items (because of Covid guidelines). All in all, I don’t have much negative to say. It’s definitely worth the money!

The exterior of the hotel was well lit, the parking lot was in good condition. The interiror of the hotel was clean and well-maintained as well.

so I have five complaints about this hotel: (1) No carpet in the rooms (2) No storage/dresser (3) We recieved No housekeeping (supposedly because of COVID, but trash piled up after a three-night stay (4) No elevator (which isn't the hotels' fault but should be mentioned (5) There's a HUGE pothole as you enter/exit the hotel. Pet and kids friendly, good and hot breakfast, clean and nice front desk employees.

We didn't like the beds, would love them to be queen size instead of full size.

I loved the staff they were very friendly and extremely helpful. Great breakfast too!

The only issue we had was our room had a strong mildew smell coming from the AC.

Clean, quiet, comfortable!

Pool wasn't open and it didn't say it wasn't on their site. 35$ per pet, per night is a crazy amount to charge for pets. I can see making a pet deposit and if your pet destroyed anything take it out of it, but 2 small dogs @35 each for 3 nights=210$!! When paying 600+ already and giving a deposit on top of it, it's crazy!
