Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Kinston, an IHG Hotel

I love the breakfast and how the staff they check's you in are nice and polite. The housekeeper was wonderful, I ask her for shower caps didn't have any on her cart, told me she going find some and did, just love her energy, this was the Sunday house keepers great customer service, even had a toothbrush for my husband 😂, I call to ask them could I have a walk in shower, didn't want no tub, they was on it, 🥰🥰

I didn't like that a staff member throw away my coffee sanding I couldn't bring outside cups inside the food place for breakfast, but I told her it wasn't a outside cup, it's was y'all coffee cup, told me next time I need put it on the table not bring it inside the food area, I told her no one had a problem when I did it Sunday morning, why would I leave my beverage on the table. She continue standing alone the wall watching, I have stay there many times before and she just pissed me off, I ask her for bacon she reply they cooked bacon yesterday why would I cooked it today, I wanted to get in the pool on Sunday but the water was green

convenient and very clean. staff was friendly and helpful. breakfast was excellent. beds were comfy! lots of pillows! nice TVs, and mini fridge in the room!

only issue was the shower’s water pressure and temperature. the first night the water was cold and very little water pressure. I mentioned something to the staff that day, and the second morning I was there the shower was great! I know it seems petty, but if I don’t get a good shower, I am just not myself!

The staff was amazing. Jeff is very excellent even in an stressful situation!!!!!

The building had to be evacuated because a pipe busted. It was a huge inconvenience. But I know that things happen in life. So I won't hold that against the hotel. I would definitely stay when we visit again in a few months.

The staff was very attentive, I overheard them fix another customer complaint about his room not having a shower on the spot. They asked me if I needed anything walking in and out. I went to the meeting room to print documents, when I realized it was no paper, the staff immediately grabbed some and went with me back in the room, the breakfast was good, a lot of to go options. Gel and bar soap for the room in the shower was different, I left my soap so I appreciated that. Personalized cards in the room if you book prior so you ensure you get what you paid for.

Nothing I can think I didn’t like, was just hard to find immediately.

The hot breakfast is always a plus.

The only thing I felt needed attention was the bathroom. I know that staff was limited during that weekend. The shower needed to be cleaned on the outside, from what I could see. However, it made me question how clean really is the rooms. Other than that everything thing else was great. I travel with my own cleaning supplies during these times especially.

Out of the 4 hotels that we stayed at in the last 9 days for vacation, this was by far the best. Awesome breakfast, the staff keeps the whole place clean! Front desk woman was very nice. Close to many places to eat.

Breakfast was amazing every morning. My 5yr old son loved the pancake conveyer belt. The lady that cooked everything was so nice and sweet. The food was amazing. The pool was great too.

Stand up shower only. My son and I were hoping to take nice bubble baths.

Toni who worked at the reception was extremely helpful. Shy, the assistant manager was helpful, Melissa the cook was helpful and pleasant. Kimberly the housekeeping manager was very helpful.

The swimming pool was not open.

I liked that the bed was so comfortable and room was super clean. Breakfast was really good.

The bathroom shower could've been cleaned better housekeeping must didn't feel like cleaning the shower.. I didn't like that everytime I went downstairs to the front desk nobody would be there had a hard time trying to reach anyone after hours.

The beds was so comfortable and nice loved the room very clean except the microwave had molded chicken in it microwave wasn’t clean took it to manager and he wasn’t happy at all next day the main boss gave me a discount for my room

The laziness of the housekeepers the left molded chicken in microwave didn’t think to clean it or look in it also I think the soaps in shower needs changed every time a new customer comes in room never know who has COVID or is sick
