Residence Inn by Marriott Cincinnati Midtown/Rookwood

The room was bigger than what the picture shows. It was very clean and was a quick process to get checked in and out. The location was excellent with a lot of restaurants around to go eat that was a plus. Will definitely be staying again. If you're going for a game or festival this is the place to be. You won't be disappointed.

Other guests staying up outside pass 2 in the morning no staff on location to tell the other guest it's time to shut it down.

The entire hotel was so beautiful and comforting. The beds were luxurious and the bathroom was so roomy. I loved the shampoo choice we had, it smelled so good. And we loved that we didn’t even have to check the beds before jumping in them. I feel like that’s a huge difference between quality. You just know that everything is perfectly clean. It felt like a second home. Also, I absolutely loved fragrance. Everywhere in the hotel smelled amazing.

I didn’t care too much for the body soap or conditioner, but it was still nicer than most places.

Such a great place to stay in Cincinnati - we felt like we could move in! The rooms are large, comfortable, and have plenty of conveniences, like the near-full-size kitchen, great desk/work area, plentiful shelves and drawers, and even well-placed hooks. The staff is super kind and helpful, they even knew our names by the end of our stay. We spent a lot of time in the pool, which was great, and used the laundry as well. The hotel really feels like a home away from home.

The only thing is that the rooms are becoming a bit worn down - some things need fixing and are showing some wear. For instance, faucets didn't have cold water, only hot/warm, even after running them for a long time and moving the knob to try different positions. Curtains detaching from rails. Bathrooms/sinks need a thorough clean. Didn't detract from our stay, but hope they get fixed for next time. :)

I actually booked this room for my nephew and his girlfriend. I was staying at the Courtyard Marriott and they were out of rooms so this was perfect, to be able to have them literally right across the parking lot, I could see their room from my room and the best thing was I didn't have to be present for them to check in. as they arrived after me. The option to be able to say I'm booking for someone else was a great added feature.

It’s always hard to pick a hotel from another part of the country so I always go off the reviews, so here’s mine. This hotel was so much more than expected! It’s in a great, safe and clean location that’s easily accessible to the Interstate. We got a suite and it was very roomy and nice. The sink faucet was the only thing that needs repaired but still functional. Full breakfast! Not a grab and go! Staff was great especially Tate I think his name was? He was always in a suit and his professionalism was impeccable.

Room wasn’t fully stocked with towels and washcloths. Only 2 of each. Bathroom faucet needs repaired with low water pressure.

the room is dark. the lights are dim and the main light in the kitchen only had one of the two florescent bulbs working. we called the front desk when we arrived. Maintenance and up but said they were unable to put in a new florescent bulb. it was not fixed during our three day stay. one morning the breakfast was out of coffee for about a half hour.

Wonderful rooms, clean and very spacious! I loved having so much space for our family. The fridge and microwave in the room were nice and the table was also a bonus. The couch pulled out for my son to sleep on, loved it! Close to many places, so we could walk to dinner and shopping. Overall, we had a wonderful experience!

The breakfast was often not stocked, so we had to find a staff member to ask for basic supplies (coffee cups, coffee, milk for cereal, juice machine turned on, etc.). When we found someone, they always solved the issue. I do feel like this is not the complete fault of the hotel because I am sure it is hard to find workers right now since being short staffed is a common problem right now.

The lobby was clean and welcoming. Check-in/checkout process was quick. Although we didn’t use it the item, it was great to have stocked kitchen ware. Great location near food options, shopping, gas, and highway.

The bathroom was not clean I had to purchase items and clean. Garbage bags unavailable for trash in kitchenette. Carpet had a musty smell in the bedroom area. The refrigerator was not cleaned and had a smell when you opened the door. The parking was free for shoppers but not hotel guests. Parking was a hidden fee on Bill.

Everything at the hotel was closed due to covid. The outdoor patio was the only thing open. I feel like since they are monitoring cleanliness and masks requirements they would find a way to do the same for the swimming pool or fitness center, even the lounge was closed so that didn’t make me and my family feel open and welcome we stayed for 2nights anything longer just isn’t worth it for the amount of money that is charge for literally just your stay Because you cant enjoy any of the amenities at the residence inn property. The worker at the front desk seemed irritated that we even asked was any of the additional rooms open so I just walked off.

really comfortable beds and spacious room. good location and good facilities though didn’t use pool or gym. decent breakfast and staff friendly.

there seemed to be no room service as our room wasn’t serviced during our stay which was disappointing.
