McMenamins' properties are very unique, and this one does not disappoint. The highlight of our stay was the soaking tub; not just a hot tub, this gorgeous amenity almost makes one think they've escaped to the woods, with natural stone and beautiful landscaping. Several restaurants and bars too keep you entertained. The heating and cooling system worked wonderfully to ensure the temperature was "just right".

The room took us past unique to quirky... with chipped furniture and an odd assortment of quotes on the walls of the room. Also disappointed that McMenamins no longer provides complimentary movie passes to overnight guests.

Rooms were clean, albeit smaller. We did opt for the smaller room for a more affordable fair. The price for the smaller accommodations seems appropriate. The staff really stood out. Everyone involved with the hotel that we encountered was friendly and accommodating. Furthermore, the facilities were incredibly clean. Being able to use the soaking pool was an added bonus, as well.

The smaller room stayed pretty warm despite having the air conditioner cranked to it's lowest setting (outside temps were in the 80s) and the food in the restaurant was a little pricier than I would have anticipated.

The cleanness of the Lodge and the art. We were also close to a venue I had reservations for. The grounds are beautiful, and in the morning, we had a nice walk. In the morning, we also enjoyed coffee in the beautiful, cozy lobby, right next to the fire.

There wasn't much to not like. The Lodge is beautiful, the staff is attentive, the price and location is excellent, the soaking pool, the food... The room was cozy. My husband and I are not big fans of big rooms. It was exactly the size I wanted.

I came to the site the night before for a concert (did not stay at Mcmenamins:-( but I decided to stay the next night at McMmenamins) by myself. Single women and I felt very comfortable. The staff very friendly and my room was great. It was a quiet Sunday night and did receive a good rate for the room one. I soaked in the soaking Pool, had great meal in the outside garden. Slept 9 hrs in a very comfy bed. Happy camper!

I guess only that the sink in my room started leaking when I brushed my teeth at 10:00pm. It wasn't a big deal since the bathroom was next door. I didn't tell staff until next morning, because I didn't want to have to move that late at night. I just didn't use the sink any more. It's an old beautiful building, it's bound to need upkeep.

Breakfast was satisfactory. For our purposes, the location was perfect.

I was in room 126 (light bulb room) and the toilet has a slow internal leak, which caused it to refill frequently. I'm a light sleeper, so the sound kept me partially awake during the night. I notified the desk clerk and told her to wait until I left to fix the problem.

The different bars and restaurants located on the property. The soaking tub was really nice and secluded. My husband and I have been collecting stamps for our McMennamins Passport, so this was a great last minute stay.

Not having a private bathroom. The bars closing at midnight. No convenient ice machine to fill our ice bucket. They had 1 kitchen preparing food for all the bars/restaurants, so there was a long wait if you weren't ordering from the main restaurant. There's no air conditioning on the first 2 floors, well technically the basement and the first floor.

I was familiar with the McMenimen's brand of older buildings, bath down the hallway etc. The artwork was awesome. Food in restaurant very good.

Coffee was often "out" by 8:30 am and had to ask for replacement in the lobby. Would have liked to have hot water for tea available during the entire day/eve.

Lunch and dinner options, great drink selection, large grounds to explore, the bed and decor in the room, soaking pool included in stay and entertainment options on the grounds.

The toilet seat in the restroom near Ironworks Grill was nearly completely off of the toilet and stall did not lock at all. (I used the guest one with my key card, but just want to put that out there in case your team wasn't notified.) Also, there were hairs and a toenail in the soaking pool. 🤮

I love the quirkiness of this hotel. The soaking pool is marvelous after a long day at work, and having live music and multiple bars available to relax with was a huge bonus. The room had very responsive climate control and the bathrooms were clean.

Comfortable bed. Very nice staff. Pool was nice but soooo crowded. Again… weekend so my bad decisions.

My fault…. Bath down the hall inconveniently located. Food in Iron Grill was poor… dry and overpriced.
