Embassy Suites Portland/Hillsboro

I liked the location. Quiet area close to shopping and restaurants. The lobby was nice and modern with some elegance. The rooms looked updated and modern as well.

The only complaint is our room seemed a little dirty. The counter in the wet bar area was dirty and seemed like it hadn’t been wiped down well. There was also some spills on the wall next to the couch that was never cleaned up/wiped off the walls. The couch cushions weren’t placed on properly. And the shower floor seemed a little mildewy.

My tween kid was sick and the young woman from up front brought a thermometer, Tylenol and cold water to help. She made me feel like I was at home. The lobby had a relaxing waterfall and some cozy seats. The room was spacious and had two tvs. The breakfast was amazing!! There was a huge variety and cooked just right.

There was no blanket and sheets for the pullout bed. Went to the desk with PJs with my kid who wasn't feeling well. It wasn't clear that there would be a $10 parking fee.

First time we’ve stayed at an Embassy Suites and it was great for what we needed. The breakfast was great and the serving staff very attentive to the buffet keeping it full and clean.

The only downside was we had difficulty in the bathroom because the toilet was so low to the ground and had a tub/shower we had to step into but no tub anti slip mat, makes it difficult for older travelers.

I love how they made my family and I feel welcome. The bed was so comtable and cozy. Looks amazing from lobby to my suit. The room was bigger than what I expected wich is a plus. The kids really enjoy The pool. It even has a bar for us grown ups. They had warm breakfast. They even include fresh made omelette with variety of ingredientes to choose from . It was one of my favorite parts. I sure will come again.

We had a great stay. I loved that the bedroom is separated in the King Suite and there are two TVs. I usually stay up later than my hubby so that was nice. I loved that the salt water pool was open until 11pm. Our daughter was thrilled. There was no hot tub, but that’s alright because we’re not huge fans of them. Dinner at the restaurant was great, but a little spendy. Our waitress was really nice. The fountain by the bar was a nice touch too. The Breakfast Buffett was excellent.

There was a coffee maker but I would have liked to have a Kureg. It’s not too big of a deal because I bring my own everywhere I stay, but it would have been nice not to bring it up. I really like homey touches so maybe a fan in the room would have been nice, but also not a deal breaker. It was an excellent stay. We loved it.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed here, but first time since Covid - much improved experience without mandatory masks! The breakfast was good and friendly staff. HUGE bathroom!

The evening cocktail hour could have better snack options. The refrigerator wasn't very cold, but that was the only issue with the room - it was great!

We like the ambiance, the staff are all friendly, the pool, the bar, the separate bedroom, the large couch that opens up and the contemporary decor, ease of check in and check out.

Noticeable areas that hadn't been cleaned. The vent in bathroom was covered in dust, the corner behind garbage can in kitchenette hadn't been cleaned before our arrival. Not enough coffee (regular) provided in room prior to our arrival.

I liked that it was a quiet location and you felt safe coming and going. The complimentary drinks and breakfast and snacks were great. All staff we had interactions with were very friendly and helpful.

I can't think of anything that I didn't like!

I love the location and always stay here when I come to Portland. It is not a congested as other areas but still close access to many things. Still a great breakfast and clean as always.

Pool was still closed due to covid. Other hotels are opening pools or allowing you to schedule, so it was a little disappointing.

Room was excellent size, good facilities and clean. Breakfast was very good. Liked the evening drinks / canapes offering.

Would have been even better if there had been more gluten free options on the breakfast offering.
