Great location, walking distance to lots of coffee shops, restaurants and shops. Great hiking nearby (although this might require a car). The lobby with fireplace was comfortable and a great place to enjoy our free glass of wine upon arrival. Sufficient street parking nearby ($1 per hour, free at night until 8am - although prepaying wasn't possible so you'd have to go to the parking meter at 8am to pay).

The room and bed were pretty small for two friends, but that was probably on me for booking a queen room, instead of a twin room.

This is such a lovely hotel! I love how they've renovated it and seeing the old photos- and how much of the original design they kept in tact- was such a treat. The room was nicely sized, bed super comfortable, bathroom totally fine (nothing fancy). No conditioner in the shower, which wasn't a big deal but just good to know! Highly recc breakfast in the cafe downstairs!

We were warned about the sound and it was def a little loud. Mostly bc of people being loud out on the sidewalk late at night, which I don't think is something the hotel can do anything about! The train bothered us less, it's more of a background sound, but people yelling late at night were kind of annoying. I think the only thing the hotel could do to possible help this would be invest in more modern windows that were insulated, so there'd be more of a sound barrier?

The location was excellent. The Inn was very cute and with nice accoutrements. Staff was so helpful and nice <3, Great stores and restaurants nearby. We could walk almost everywhere except drove to the river side. The train noise was loud throughout the night but the staff gave us earplugs at check in to help mitigate the noise so that is not really a negative.

Older hotel with older noises. Could have used a bedside table. Bathroom was small. Parking on street not too bad while we were there but I could see how that could be a problem especially feeding the meter during the day. Someone was constantly parked in the drop off spot in front of the Inn but we were able to carry bags from around the corner.

Super cute historic hotel. I loved the remodeled vibe and everything was super cute! The trains were kind of loud but I was so exhausted it didn't even matter - plus they provide ear plugs which i thought was a great touch! They didn't leave anything out - and a nice spread of local goodies in the room if you wanted to purchase.

Louder environment, but I knew that going into it - so be prepared as this is an older hotel but worth it!

I loved the location and the general ambiance of the hotel. The staff were all very helpful and professional. We got an upgrade on our room so had a kitchen which was great.

The radiator in the room didn't seem to work very well. It was pretty chilly but the front desk gave us an extra blanket. Also several guests had dogs and they were barking but when we mentioned it at the front desk, they must have spoken to the dog owners because they quieted down.

Great location in town with restaurants and local boutique shops. Railroad suite had a nice view of the railroad station and the river, as well as having a very nice kitchenette and a large walk-in closet. Train noise might be an issue for some (4 trains during the night) but we enjoyed it.

The reception staff member who was dealing with our early check-in request suddenly disappeared when her shift was over without telling us and we had to start the whole process again with the new shift. Customer service should have been better. Missing coffee and coffee mug in the room shows a slight inattention to detail, bearing in mind this was an expensive room.

You charged me $5.00 for "In Room Popcorn." First of all, there was not even any popcorn available!!! And even if there was, there was no device to even cook it.....no microwave, no nothing!!!!! I will never ever ever use booking.com again if you do not correct this additional charge. BTW, I am contesting this erroneous charge on my Mastercard, so expect a contesting of this charge coming your way. Have a nice day.

I stayed in the Columbia River suite, which is incredibly spacious — it's like having your own apartment! The view out the window was beautiful, looking up and along the river. The space itself was nicely designed with comfortable furniture.

The suite is apartment sized — and feels like an apartment — so you notice the little things that are missing that would be in an apartment: better lighting, blankets or pillows for the couch, enough plates/silverware and kitchen items to make use of the kitchen. There is a coffeemaker but no coffee is provided; you have to go to the lobby for that.

location, friendly staff, beautiful historic building

thought the roof top garden rooms would be looking out on a beautiful garden but there wasn’t much there but noisy fans and a few plants and there was no access. I thought it was going to be an open rooftop patio to enjoy and look out on the town instead of an enclosed space looking at the exterior walls of the other rooftop garden rooms.

Super cute hotel, an excellent combination of maintaining the original history and feel of the building, but without feeling dated and gross. Very quaint!

A tad noisy on the street, due to the air conditioner in the window causing the window to be partially open essentially, but it really didn't bother us much. Plus earplugs were provided by the hotel!
