Rooms were cute and new looking. Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean, staff were friendly. Rooms were quiet too. A family with kids were next door and I could not hear them. Rooms have fridges, microwave, TV, hair dryers, an iron, shampoo/body wash. Also energy efficient, you use your key card to keep main lights on, but there are side lamps with charger plugs. Near amenities too. (pet friendly rooms too). I thought it was nice they called a couple days before to verify my reservation and see if I needed anything.

The only thing I didn’t like was to me the heater/ac was louder than I expected but I am a light sleeper.

The owner is very kind and welcoming. The property obviously prides itself on being clean and well-run, and it should! The view from the back of the motel is nice too. I had a very peaceful and pleasant night.

Nothing! The only thing I didn't like was a customer who dumped their car trash in the parking lot. This is not the first time I have seen this at a motel/hotel. Please, people, show some respect for the lovely folks who still provide clean and safe lodging for us budget-conscientious travelers.

The motel is easy to reach. The location across from a shopping center is convenient. The room was clean and comfortable. We come here every year for out adventure along the Columbia River.

We will be back. I hope these issues will be fixed next time. 1. One night I encountered ants on the working table in room 102. Not so many ants the second night. Had this infestation problem in my house last fall. 2. The microwave worked but the turntable did not rotate.

We appreciated how clean it was. You walked in and it smelled like cleaning supplies, which for a dog friendly room is great! I always worry that it will smell like a previous pup. It wasn't the most convenient location, sitting away from downtown, but it was across the street from a grocery store and pharmacy which is great for forgotten items.

The beds were *super* soft. Some people might love that, but my husband and I prefer firmer beds and decided to sleep in separate beds as we knew we'd both be tossing and turning all night. Also, we had a huge window that opened (this is a plus), but it didn't have a screen on it, so we couldn't keep it open over night.

Pleasant check-in, and clear explanation of how the room card works to turn and use the lights in the room. Comfortable bed, very clean, glad to see a fridge and microwave even though I didn't use them. I'm not a TV person, so I have no comment about it. Overall, the room and bathroom were clean. I didn't shower. I just wanted to get home quickly and shower at home, since it was the last day of my road trip.

The black office chair needs to be replaced. I sat in it but sank to the bottom. It should not be used anymore even. It was very uncomfortable, so I had to stand in front of the TV to eat my dinner after hours of driving that day. Also, the bottom of the frame of the black mirror in the bathroom should be repaired. Its current state does not say "Welcome" nor "We're glad you're here."

Clean room, comfortable mattresses. Not noisy, view of Mt Adams over the treeline. Private balcony. Friendly staff with easy checkin. Right across the street from Safeway for groceries, Rite Aid for pharmacy, McDonald's, etc.

Only thing is that the room didn't have a shower curtain so the floor got really wet. And that you have to request the cleaning service rather than it being automatically provided.

The room & exterior appeared to recently have had a total makeover and looked brand new. For the price compared to brand hotels in the area, it is an outstanding value. Though it had an exterior door, we felt safe. Check-in was smooth and easy.

Nothing I didn't like. I typically stay at places that include hot breakfast, but I couldn't pass up this motel's price even though I knew it didn't include breakfast. There is a McDonald's and Safeway across the road so breakfast options were available nearby.

Very clean room and very comfy bed on the edge of town (opposite Safeways, so handy to pick up a few bits) - Our room was at the rear of the hotel and had a nice (if not particularly close) view of Mt Adams. It was very quiet when we were there (end August) and there's plenty of parking. We got a taxi into town (5 mins) and walked back (forgetting that the walk back is uphill!)

Can't think of anything we didn't like - It's not a cheap motel, but reasonable value for the Hood River area

Our room was very clean, main area and bathroom. That was much appreciated.

I understand why you employ the "key card light switch", but it should be mandatory to hand out TWO key cards, one for each guest. I left to get coffee in the morning and, of course, took the key card with me to get back into the room. My wife COULDN'T USE THE BATHROOM because the damn lights wouldn't work! It was far too dark for her to be in there safely! All guests should ask for (demand) two key cards. We certainly will if we use this motel again.

The room carpets were new and clean, there was a small frig and microwave, the drapes were new and the beds 2 queens were neatly made the bedspread. Even three pillows. The bathroom sink and tub and shower and toilet were clean. Only had bar hand soap. No hand lotion.

Mostly esthetic: The bottom wood of mirror frame had peeled off.
