If you're looking for a serene escape with hosts who treat you like family, look no further than Terraluna Inn. My recent stay at this enchanting bed and breakfast was nothing short of spectacular, and it's all thanks to the warm and welcoming hosts, Gail and James. From the moment I arrived, Gail and James made me feel right at home. Their genuine kindness and attention to detail were evident in every aspect of my stay. The inn itself is a charming haven, beautifully decorated with a blend of rustic elegance and modern comfort. Each room is meticulously maintained, offering a cozy retreat with wonderful views of the surrounding neiboorhood. Gail's culinary skills are truly exceptional, with a delightful homemade breakfast that was as delicious as it was beautifully presented. Gail's passion for cooking shines through in every bite. James, on the other hand, is a master of hospitality. His local knowledge and thoughtful recommendations for nearby dining spots were invaluable. Whether it was offering suggestions or making dinner reservations a hidden gem of a restaurant, James went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The Terraluna Inn is more than just a place to stay—it's an experience. The serene setting, combined with Gail and James's impeccable service, creates an atmosphere of tranquility and warmth. I left feeling refreshed and grateful for the unforgettable memories created at this special place. If you’re in search of a bed and breakfast that offers more than just a comfortable bed, Terraluna Inn is the perfect choice. Gail and James are truly exceptional hosts who make every guest feel like part of their extended family. I can’t wait for my next visit!

This is a classic Bed & Breakfast. If you have only done Airbnb then there are differences. Firstly, you are indeed a guest in someone’s home. There will be interaction with the couple. If you are extremely introverted this would present a problem on the surface. My wife and I found both Gayle and James to be engaging and friendly and enjoyed that part of the trip. Gayle is an amazing cook and gardener and touring her gardens and eating delicious breakfasts and evening treats was amazing. She completely adjusted to our dietary needs without a second thought. James loves to give you a tour of the stately old house and is an audiophile who wants to give you a tour of his classic system. This was fun for us and the brandy he provided made it even better. These two gracious hosts will follow your guidance. If you are very introverted and want minimal interaction just state so prior to your arrival. It will not be a problem. They honor all guest requests. The room is very comfortable with a great King bed and your own AC. Roomy closet, beautiful robes hand made by Gayle, plenty of nice pillows, and a private terrace seating area great for evenings or mornings. James brings your coffee and or tea up to a serving table in the adjoining hallway as well as evening treats and port. The bathroom is strictly yours but you do exit the room. Night lights are excellent and it is just across the hall. Great shower, vanity, and all amenities. While the hosts rooms are also on this floor they have an en-suite bathroom and we never saw them at night. James was extremely helpful in directing us to local attractions including letting us know which Falls and Hikes were closed due to fires down south. You have your own parking spot and they even provided us with coffee on the go. This really is a Bed & Breakfast in the classic tradition and we highly recommend it.

The innkeepers, James and Gail, are wonderful: attentive, charming, informative. Really made us feel like honored guests. Beautiful, lovingly-restored early 1900’s home filled with charming furnishings and an exceptional garden. James & Gail’s hospitality is first rate: welcome cocktails, dinner reservations at a great local restaurant, guided tour through their home and exquisite gardens, very comfortable bed, charming late night sweet after returning from dinner, morning coffee service and an amazing breakfast. Could not ask for a better visit on our way home from vacation. Lovely!

From the friendly greeting by our hosts Gail and James to the warm farewell this was a delightful stay and a highlight on our road trip. The room was very nice and met all our needs and the bed was super comfortable. We enjoyed the hospitality of our hosts, the welcome drink, the turndown service, a delicious sweet before bedtime and a wonderful breakfast!! Gail and James are a delightful couple, who clearly enjoy hosting and take great care to pamper their guests.

The hosts shared their beautiful 1925 home which has been lovingly restored and decorated. Gail and James completely spoiled us with with treats and house tours and helped us enjoy our visit to Roseburg with their insider tips. Breakfast was sumptuous and we can’t wait to go back in warmer weather and enjoy the outdoor deck, porch and garden. Our room was comfortable, cosy and we had our own bathroom. The inn is walking distance to some great restaurants

Gail and James are passionate about their property and we really enjoyed chatting with them over Gail’s delicious breakfast. The location is good for easy walking into downtown and the large bed was really comfortable.
For us, the hosts were a little too interactive at check in as we really just wanted to settle in and relax after a long drive. And James loves his sound system, but to be honest, we did not always appreciate the volume and subwoofers resonating through the house. We were also surprised to find that the room was not really a suite and the (private)bathroom was across the hall and above the stairs, between the hosts two rooms. It was fine; but not what we expected and feel the booking description was as a bit misleading.

The house and ground were exceptional as were the hosts, interesting and extremely nice people. Breakfast was exceptional, German pancake with fresh strawberry/rhubarb compote and whipped cream with grilled ham and fresh ground coffee. The orange juice alone was worth it all, fresh squeezed and in a frosted glass, delicious. When your hosts are a top chef and an audiophile with classic music training who are in for a treat. Watch a movie with incredible sound surround that exceeds any cinema or sit in the deck and sip good port and a little dessert, can't be beat
The only shortcoming is that you are in Rosenberg and there is not much there. The neighborhood is getting some upgrades and was once the wealthy part of town. Nothing adverse about the Inm, but while the area is getting some upgrades it is the Inn that is heads and shoulders above the location.

A classic home, restored by a devoted couple ... and ex ICU nurse and gourmet cook & a talented musician and host. The setting is warm, comfortable, and scenic ... overlooking the area to the West ... and incorporating gardens, water features, and sitting areas throughout. The home is convenient to the downtown ... quiet & cozy.
Well, you have to like older homes ... no real complaint here! Truly ... no specific issues.

Delicious and wonderfully prepared breakfast. Coffee or tea served upstairs while getting dressed. A welcome cocktail and a two bite dessert with port wine to finish the day. Warm towels after an early morning shower is a great detail. Also the night light in the bathroom
The bedroom is a little tight. However the veranda you can step out on and sit, when it’s not raining is great.

James and Gail are wonderful hosts. They are there to welcome you, and take great pride in showing you the beautiful home and garden. The comfortable room, delicious breakfast and relaxing music on James' exceptional sound system made me feel like I was staying at a friend's house.
