Staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was decent and the hotel was quiet and relaxing. We had a nice private balcony with a wooded view.

The only issues we didn't like was a bad cat odor in the hallways, which they said they've been trying to eliminate. The rooms weren't affected and were clean and comfortable. There also wasn't any balcony furniture, but we used the room chairs when we wanted to sit out and our cooler as a balcony table.

The whole experience was fantastic, especially the staff. Always helpful, very clean, breakfast was home cooked and excellent, and the room was more then worth what we paid. 10/10, nice and quiet and relaxing with good food options around. And the balcony topped off an excellent experience. Thanks!

All around excellent, the state trooper constantly parked across the street trying to catch speeders is a tad unnerving but that's no fault to the hotel. They were excellent all around.

It was a good value for the money. Room was comfortable and clean

Scrambled eggs were very salty, I could not eat them. The hallways smelled like cigarette, even by the non-smoking rooms. (I am allergic to cigarettes, so would always cough when walking to the room.)

The beds were decently comfortable, the pillows were great. Staff was nice and easy to get to. Great place to stay if you just need a bed for the night.

The breakfast left a bit to be desired.

Breakfast was not only advertised, but actually offered. Breakfast room was well stocked, clean, and cheerful. People felt so comfortable at breakfast that they initiated conversations with strangers.

1. Musty and seedy, like most budget motels. If only they could get rid of that dead, mildewy smell. But linens and towels were clean. 2. Motel is right on a busy road, but rooms at the back face a lovely wooded area. As soon as we discovered that our assigned room faced the road, we asked to be switched to a room at the rear, since we appreciate a quiet night. The manager categorically refused. First she claimed the rooms at the back only had twin beds. But when we said twin beds would be OK, she quickly switched her story, claiming that all rooms in the motel were booked. In the end, we got a good night’s sleep despite being in the front. But we give that manager a black mark for lying to us so outrageously.

They always have a good breakfast and the rooms are very clean and quiet and is a very good place to rejuvenate after a long drive or a day of beautiful sightseeing in and around historic Brookville

I can't think of anything I didn't like

Staff was friendly, attentive, and accomodating. The room was clean. The night was quiet - even though we saw many people at the hotel in the evening including families with babies. Breakfast had a selection of cold and hot food.

The decor could use updating - our bathroom was mostly new, but the curtains/painting in the room were getting old. Small nuance for a nice place to stay.

Friendly staff. Great value for one night stay. Very convenient everyone seems to be working hard to make this a better property.

They had hot scrambled eggs and sausage available. There were bagels, toast, oatmeal, cereal, muffins. Coffee, Juice. The interior was clean and pleasant. Clean. Non-smoking room did not smell of smoke like other hotels we have visited.

The outside shows signs of age, but the inside had been redone. The location is close to the highway (bonus to travel there) but there was some noise noticeable as I fell asleep. Not enough to keep me awake, though.

Friendly staff! Convenient location off I-80. Comfortable bed. Room had refrigerator and microwave. Good selection for breakfast. Great value!
