Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Harrisburg West/Mechanicsburg

The breakfast had a good selection. The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The beds were very comfortable as well. I was happy that extra towels were given to me at the front desk as well.

They didn't have the big Belgium waffles this time around. Also my friend had the yogurt, and although it wasn't the expiration date, it was already spoiled. If you're fond of swimming, just know that the pool is pretty small, and doesn't go deep.

Great location and good selection of breakfast in the morning. The pool area was small but was still okay to jump in and get wet before heading on the road.

Perhaps a jacuzzi or hot tub but with Covid, I totally understand. There was a sound like someone drilling or building something late at night. Then I heard some dogs barking at 1:00 a.m. in the morning. It sounded like they were in the parking lot in a car or in one of the rooms in the hotel. After 15-20 minutes they stopped barking. I was too tired to call the front desk as I had been driving all day from South Carolina and was too tired to call.

The waffles from the breakfast were great! The gym / fitness room was nice. The dining area was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I really appreciated the woman at the front desk getting me hot water when the thermos was empty.

I wish the pool was bigger. There were certain areas of the dining area which were close to an exit door, and they let in a lot of the cold air. (Please keep in mind, this stay was for early February.)

Nice and brand new facility is off on its own due to no surrounding development yet. Facility was clean and modern.

The bed was so uncomfortable, it was like sleeping on concrete! I'm really not sure if it was due to them being so new or they were just terrible mattresses, but they were so bad

Breakfast was a little light on choices, but what I ate was very good. The location was fine, but I was there to visit Gettysburg. I chose Fairfield because it was available and was a better value than those near Gettysburg.

Nothing stands out

Brand new property!! Safe, easy to access right off the highway. Many eateries close by. Parking free on site. Check in was easy. Room was spacious, very clean and had very user friendly touches like numerous hooks on the walls to hang things up. The bed was super comfortable. The lighting was perfect. The shower was slow but warm. Towels clean and crisp. Noise level perfect. Hallways clean. Gym was open 24 hours. Breakfast was simple

I wish it had room service for food

it was very clean and the breakfast had variety and was very good.

No housekeeping services and we weren’t told til we checked out that we could have put our trash outside the door to be picked up. No bags in trash cans.

Cant really rate the extras. We were just stopping for the night. I can tell you the breakfast was great, not a crowded area. Items were laid out with nice presentation and variety. When we got there the desk clerk immediately gave me a full list of ALL the restaurants in the area. That was really nice of them.

Cant complain about a thing.

I loved the bedding and the TV. My room was pre-cooled and it was very cle and comfortable.

The shower drain, although cool looking was noisy when water hits it. Not a big deal honestly. There housekeepers weren't very friendly.

Everything was clean and easy. Even check in was very easy. Breakfast was great. Definitely will be using this hotel again when we come visit family
