Motel 6-New Stanton, PA

The outside was like most other Motel 6 locations; however, our room was spacious with a king bed, large TV, refrigerator, and table with two chairs. We had a small dog with us, and there was no additional charge. We’ve stayed in more expensive motels that were not as nice as this one. We were planning on staying in another town on our return trip; but after seeing this room, we decided to book this motel instead. The desk clerk was super friendly and helpful.

Price was good and it was clean The gentleman at the front desk was amazing!! He was very friendly and I enjoyed talking with him! He also went the extra mile to keep an eye on the camera when I was taking my dog out late at night alone. I really appreciated that

The other motel near by was sketchy but I felt very comfortable at motel 6 because the desk attendant was very attentive to the surroundings

The room was very clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. There was also a fridge and microwave in the room which I greatly appreciated. Nice, large TV as well.

The sound of water filling the toilet basin is quite loud and continues long after flushing so that I had to close the bathroom door. I'm sure it was only my room and I would not let it stop me from staying at this motel again.

Staff was very nice. It made up for the rather sub par hotel room amenities. But we new that going in since it was cheaper. I called them saying I thought I left my wallet there and the person took the time and checked around for me. ***Found it finally deep in a random bag***

The bathroom had very dark pieces of hair in it and my family has lighter hair so I knew they weren’t ours. Other than that the conditions matched the price.

Great location for me…rooms had no carpet which is great…they came in to clean even though I didn’t need it which was great…bed was comfortable and the people working there were nice:)

The coffee was great, but sometimes not there till after 630…would be better if night shift made some around 500 for us early risers:)

Billing issues. I reserved this room on Booking.com for one of my employees. I filled in his name on the booking.com site per indicated instructions. I filled out the form that showed that I was booking the room but that another person was staying in the room. However, the hotel almost cancelled the reservation because the person who was staying in the room that I reserved did not have the same name that was on my credit card that I used. I called the hotel and tried to straighten it out but the front desk would not bill my card for my employee's room. When my employee arrived, he paid for his own room and I reimbursed him. Booking needs to fix this problem. I need to be able to pay for rooms on my company credit card for my employees or find another way to make reservations.

Right off the interstate, clean, and in a safe area. Despite arriving late at night, the person behind the desk was cheerful, friendly, and helpful. The room was very clean and easy to access. The bed was comfortable and the shower had plenty of hot water. Was the cheapest hotel in the area and definitely was comfortable for the price point.

It is a budget motel, so don't expect high end niceties.

About had a heart attack when the sirens went off in the middle of the night. Where we come from, those are tornado sirens. Here they apparently are calling for the fire department volunteers. I'm guessing that it doesn't happen that often, but it sure would have been nice if the front desk had given us a heads up that it could happen. The locals might be used to it, but visitors aren't.

Front desk guy was very polite. No carpet in the room was a plus. AC worked very well and was quiet. Beds were comfy, but creaky when you roll around. Overall great value.

Funny smell in the hallway, maybe carpet needed cleaning. TV is bolted to the wall in a way to deny access to HDMI ports for our Firestick. HBO was advertised but not available.

The room was spotless! Smelled clean and fresh without the feeling of "perfumed". Towels and sheets were spotlessly clean and fresh. The bed was VERY comfortable! I recommend staying at this property.

Very little, the property is obviously not new, and the colors and decor are a little dark and dated, but its not a big deal to me.
