Courtyard by Marriott Wilkes-Barre Arena

a home from home for me when working in WIlkes Barre, there are plenty of hotels in the local vacinity to choose from but none compare to the Courtyard. Staff, service and modern rooms and decor streaming service on room TV's is a massive plus when staying for more than a day or two. plenty of shops, resturants etc right on the doorstep.

there has never been a negative staying at the Courtyard.

I loved the location of this hotel! The room size was fantastic and the front desk service was super helpful and friendly!! Parking was easy to find and it was quiet our entire stay! We used this hotel to go to the Lantern festival and it was in a great location to it!

I was a little upset to see a stain on our comforter. I was hoping the comforter would be replaced when it is clearly stained. I was also very disappointed that our room was never cleaned the day after we were there. For example we arrived on Friday and left on Sunday. On Saturday our room was not cleaned (no fresh towels or bed made). For the amount of money we spent to stay there, we could’ve at least had our room cleaned.

the courtyard is my home from home when in wilkes barre, i have been staying here over the last three years without issue. they have exceptional staff who are both friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble.

The staff went out of their way to help us when we arrived. My husband is disabled, and they located us near an exit which I requested, brought a luggage cart down to that area so that I would have an easier time unloading our car myself. The only additional item that would be helpful would have been a bench or chair in the shower. I did not request it, but will next time. It makes it easier for him to shower.

Just a bench or shower chair. Perhaps that is available, I will ask. Otherwise, I could not have been more pleased.

i have stayed at the courtyard Wilkes Barre multiple times the same as other hotels throughout the east coast, what i like about the the Courtyard Wilkes Barre is they have set the standard high and over the three years i have stayed here that standard has never dropped, even during the worst of Covid. i call this hotel my home from home when ever in PA

when ever i am in Wilkes Barre i stay at the courtyard, its my home from home. rooms are modern, clean and tiday staff are friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble for them

The room set up was nice and spacious. And the location was nice even though it's right near all the stores and restaurants it's kinda away from them so you don't feel like you are in such a busy area.

The property was super nice but there was a day we came back to the hotel though and there was a big group of kids for what seemed like a hockey camp there were at least 10 of them from ages 8-10 running around the lobby-breakfast area with no mask climbing and touching everything as well as multiple adults with them who were not wearing a mask and the receptionist was just standing behind the counter and I wish it would have been more unforced for them to put their mask on. Due to this we did not feel comfortable eating breakfast because the lobby-breakfast area felt completely unsanitary.

The hotel staff was quite friendly and helpful when it came to my questions. The gym was pretty decent. The fire pit was a nice touch too bad it got too cold to be out there to enjoy it. I love the fact that the shopping area was close proximity for walking distance.

They didn't have breakfast available nor the pool was open at the time, so accommodate social distancing. The water pipes were being fixed so they did have brown water running out the faucet for a day or two.

Great middle of our trip location. Staff very friendly. Loved the breakfast options and service and the starbucks coffee barista on site was awesome for people traveling.
