Homewood Suites by Hilton Reading-Wyomissing

The size of the suite was great. Plenty of pillows and blankets for the beds. The kitchen area allowed us to bring leftovers back for later, or eat in if we didn't feel like going out. Plenty of space to eat, work on projects etc. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were on the first floor, very near the lobby, so it wasn't a long walk for my mom. Surprisingly, the room seemed well insulated, and we didn't hear much noise at all. Breakfast was a nice bonus, with plenty of choices. Location was great, with a strip mall next door for groceries etc, and plenty of other restaurants within a few miles.

My only wish would be to have breakfast available a bit later, as I am not a morning person. Oh, and the fire alarm is really LOUD. They were testing it late one morning.

The location is great for us since it's near my mother's home. The room was enormous, which was good because we had my mom and several other family members visit, including my 2 1/2 year old grandson.

The breakfasts were mostly very good. However, the scrambled eggs we had on Sunday weren't very good -- they tasted like fake eggs. Please only use real eggs when you serve scrambled eggs. Our room, while being very large, was also somewhat dim because there aren't many windows.

Rooms are not in the best shape with the ceiling in the bathroom was peeling. It was noticed that renovations are in process. There needs to be updates as far as technology. It needs USB ports for electronic devices. There needs to be more rooms with a fireplace.

Everyone was very nice at the front desk, check in was very quick and simple, I appreciated that. Room was very clean and well organized.

I had one of the staff stare me down while I was getting coffee with my daughter and I felt extremely uncomfortable. He stood there and stared at me the entire time. It was very unnecessary for him to do that. Also, the hotel pillows are not the best quality.

Breakfast was good and very convenient. We did not have to leave the hotel to find a restaurant for breakfast.

The mattress was sinking in the middle along the edge of the bed on both sides. Wasn’t allowed to lay near the edge on either side with fear of rolling in the floor. Room 106.

the only thing I was not happy about I could not use the bath the shower would still come out of the shower head even though it was on bath other than that it was nice

I Loved everything ❤️. I am definitely coming back next time I visit. I loved the room. The breakfast was not up to par. The eggs were runny and sausage gravy was salty but other then that it was 👍 👌. I would still Absolutely recommend it.

Go there every year for the WWII Weekend. It's an excellent location for that with the airport only the next exit on the highway. Also close to numerous restaurants and shopping options. Staff are very friendly and rooms are clean. Lots of space. Good Covid-related procedures.

Bathroom could use refurbishment and directions on how to activate shower would be helpful. The air conditioning unit is very noisy, but I always travel with earplugs, so it wasn't a deal breaker.

I loved everything. The space in the rooms, the great breakfast and coffee, and the faculty.

The sofa mattress was too thin. You could feel the metal. My son is only 120 lbs., so it wasn't too much weight on it. What made it worse, when I asked for an extra to go on top, they couldn't provide one. I was in a Buena Vista hotel last year and this happened, but they provided a second one to go on top. This is my only complaint.
