Super 8 by Wyndham Sioux Falls

Perhaps an accident, but we got the biggest hotel room we've ever stayed in! It was a corner room with a king bed and Mt Rushmore above it. The king looked small in a room that big - I paced the room size around 360 square feet. The breakfast was excellent, a varied selection of foods. An especial pleasure was the attention and care devoted to the breakfast by the attendant. Not only did she refill any empties promptly and keep the area clean of crumbs or spills, but she was charming in taking care of small children asking for help. Seeing a warm smile and good heart like that makes such a difference. There was an elevator and a luggage cart which made moving a cooler and a half dozen bags to the second floor a breeze.

Nothing to complain about.

The front guy was a little hard to understand but only because of accent but he was a pleasant welcoming face after an 18 hour drive. Got up in the morning and not only were there mini biscuits n gravy but waffles... I'm so happy covid is over cause free breakfast is still one of my favorite part of hotels. The bed was super comfy

The alarm was preset... I got in at 1 am only to be woken up at 7 am from an alarm I didn't set. Sorry guys it's unplugged now but I'm up in time for biscuits lol

The price was the best, however, the accommodations, although not luxury, met our needs well. Very clean, breakfast offered a variety of choices, good tv reception, plug ins for both my cpap and my husband's, quiet considering highway was close by.

The toilet was too low for us senior citizens-if replacing, would be nice to put a few extra $'s into ones that are higher. A tray would be nice in the breakfast area to take breakfast back to a "senior" spouse. Charging station in lobby area for cell phones-hospital, etc. have them and they are stationary so they won't be stolen. Decaf coffee dispenser should have hot coffee first off in the morning-not cold that has to be warmed in microwave (as suggested by employee, but leaves one to wonder if it is leftover from day before.)

All credit to the excellent staff, who proactively helped where I needed it - with rebooking for the correct date, pleasantly changing me to a more comfortable room on check-in, reassuring me on location security, and recommending a daytime walk in the lovely nearby Falls Park. Though small, my room was clean, quiet, and odor-free. She had moved to Sioux City to assist her aging father, and I count him a very lucky man!

This is a hotel for the sleep-shower-go traveler. The lobby coffee is poor quality, but they point to the adjacent family restaurant, so they know. It would be a bargain at half the price. Yet its convenience and accessibility were prefect, so in my estimation, overall, an unregrettable stop.

The room was clean and the staff was very helpful.

There was a little mix up for I stated that we had a Service Dog coming with. The motel tried to state that the reservation only said that a pet was involved and wanted to charge us $20 per night fee. Service animals do not get charged and finally the did remove the fee

All went well with our room and staff. Continental Breakfast was good too!

There was a barking dog that was on the 3rd floor ( where we were staying). The dog started barking around 12:30 am and continued until around 2;30am....must have gotten tired of barking! We did not call the front desk because we could not get the phone to work. We did report the dog barking when we checked out and the front desk person repeatedly apologized for the problem. I cant understand why the dog barked and woke us up unless there was no one in the room with the dog? It was very disappointing to our stay.

The breakfast was wonderful and the staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

There were several young people in behind the building who dispersed when the police made rounds through the parking area. The police came in 4 times in evening/night but as soon as the patrol car left they would return. I don’t know if they were guests or loitering.

I requested a walk-in shower and that was granted. Also, I was allowed to check in a little early following my flight. Was so quiet at night even though it is located next to the Interstate.

We didn't stay for breakfast because of an early morning departure. Maybe the option of a coffee pot in the room. Had issues with the TV but the staff corrected the problem right away.
