Valley Inn Sanford Medical Center

The location was perfect for my needs. They offer a discount for status related to medical needs. I booked my room online thru booking. com and didn't get the discount. Call the hotel and make your reservations thru then directly.

The credit card machine wasn't working properly, they had to process several transactions later without customers present so no receipt. Went down at 5:00 a m. to get a receipt and the door leading to the office was locked. We had to be at hospital at 5:30 a.m.

I didn't eat the breakfast but it was offered. The motel is quite, nice, clean and affordable. When taking my parents to Dr appts at Sanford it's convenient for early morning procedures. This last time just a little me time and shopping.

It would be nice if they had a microwave in the room since they have a little fridge. The fridge was set too high froze my drink but no big deal. Just thinking if someone has a loved one in the hospital for awhile they might want to save and cook some small stuff in the room.

Very good. The place was quiet, the room was clean and big enough, comfortable beds, and there was everything we needed. Nice breakfast, limited choice but good quality.

No elevator.

Pleasantly surprised by the place. Wasn’t sure what to expect but the place was pretty clean and that’s my biggest fear with any place. It met my expectations and I felt comfortable with our choice of booking.

For people looking for a good continental breakfast, it was definitely lacking. I’m not a breakfast person so it didn’t bother me. But it was a bit slim. I enjoyed the coffee though.

The property was very clean, house keeping does not do over stays so if you needed anything you had to ask the front but no big deal. Very clean and perfect place if you are going to Sanford Hospital.

The ice machine in my building was broken, but I just walked to the other building to get ice.

Breakfast and coffee were good, friendly staff, conveniently located downtown.

Doors slammed shut and were loud, also loud when walking on floors in room (or if you dropped something).

Did not eat the breakfast. It was a bagged breakfast and we decided to eat at a restaurant. We were also surprised that there was maid service when we returned in the evening after our first night's stay. The sign at the front desk stated there would not be any during our stay.

Location is perfect if you need access to Sanford Health System. It was also within walking distance (a mile or so) to some stores. We did not have a car and found that we could get around a bit on foot.

Rooms are bit out-dated but the beds were comfy.

The staff and house keepers were very friendly they did their best to meet what we asked without heisation

noticed some rooms had mini fridges and microwaves some didn the consistency of the rooms would make for a better turn out for the motel
