La Quinta by Wyndham Alice

The staff was awesome. The room was clean and big enough for my family. The location was perfect and the staff is amazing. The pool is good sized. Great stay for the money.

The bathrooms could use to be updated, and the tub has stains, rust, black mold on hand rail and soap scum. Beds are firm and comfy for a hotel bed. Due to COVID-19 still no breakfast.

Breakfast was outstanding! Rarely do I see cooked food. Always little boxes of cereal and left over fruit. This was hot good breakfast strait from the Kitchen and the Kitchen staff was great too.

Parking is cramped. This Hotel is in Texas which means people drive pick up trucks big ones. Also you must consider who is staying in your Hotel. I bet 80% of the folks are Oil Field and Construction. We do not drive little match box cars. Always look at this Bench Mark. Is this Hotel in an oil producing county in Texas Oklahoma Louisiana Mississippi

The price and location

The iron didn't work and there wasn't any diet drinks for sale. My Mom is diabetic and she only drink sugar free soda and only once a day. Had to drive to the nearest gas station to buy one. Very inconvenient, specially when this hotel had a full fridge of drinks when we were staying but not diet ones. No even one single diet flavor, come on La Quinta You can certainly do better than this !!

It was really clean and loved the breakfast and the lady that was there making sure ecerything was fine great service.

The parking lot we had to park farther because some of the bigger trucks would take two spaces when they would fit in one like the rest larger trucks. And it was really cold to walk farther with the kids.

Clean bed was filled with pillows very comfortable and room was super cold when we arrived. Love the big wide rooms the space was great. No complaints at all. Also room was not even 100 bucks! King bed room!

Wish it was closer to the beach that’s all. We came from port a over the ferry and an hour and 30 minutes drive just to get from the beach to the hotel. And we wanted to go back to the beach the next morning but it’s way far an hour away so we ended up going back home down south. But still was one of the only rooms available in the area we had last minute reservations nothing bad to say about the place besides the distance from the beach.

The only thing that I didn't like is that the pool was closed for chemical testing and didn't open until later in the evening. But that's a small problem compared to the things I did like. The staff was wonderful very accommodating the rooms were very large, had comfortable beds were very clean and overall it was wonderful and I would highly recommend .

I loved the AC and how great it worked. I loved the courtesy of the staff.

The bath tub was not to a normal standard of a hotel this beautiful. the tub was raised on the sides and held water in the center. Other than that appearance of that, everything else was great.

I liked everything about my stay at the La Quinta.. The room was great and the staff was friendly and helpful.

There was nothing that I didn't like about this place. Everything was great.

Staff was good, courteous friendly. The first room the TV didn't work, so they gave us different room. It was good.

Shower curtain was way too short. At the time we showered all the water went outside as the curtin was an inch shorter than the tub height. We had to use the towel for all the water on the floor.

The staff was very kind and helpful with my kids and my dogs. Very friendly environment.

Just need to finish remodeling but everything was excellent and affordable.
