Econo Lodge Kingsville

I liked the room I stayed in and the location of it. The TV in my room had plenty of channels. The room didn't smell, was nice and clean. There wasn't a lot of noise during the night and the staff was friendly.

I didn't like the complication of the lock to my room going out on checkout day but the staff was very accommodating and remedied the situation as soon as was possible. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Friendly, clean, washer and dryer available, across the street from a very good Mexican restaurant, and 5 min from grocery store and everything else. I made the trip to visit my mom and was very glad that i did thank you.

I was charged extra for pet daily. it adds up especially. when you're a long way from home.

Updated with tile like floors. No carpet, so that was a huge plus! Fridge, microwave and coffee pot. Clean comfy bed. Great rates for a very clean room. Would most definitely stay there again!

$35 damage fee added to the room charge at check-in. Will be refunded after the room is clean and inspected. Their billing system isn’t geared for rate correct rate charges. The system corrects itself at checkout. Room charge was $59 but totaled $96 at check-in. Ugh....it was corrected upon checkout. Rooms are all suppose to be non-smoking. We booked 2 rooms and one of them was had a most definitely heavy smokers odor. They did offer to change rooms. Need to change the free breakfast sign. No breakfast served

Room was comfortable and we felt safe. Bed was comfortable and very clean. It was definitely a relaxing stay.

Floors were dirty. I had to put socks on. Toilet wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. There was hair and a smudge on the toilet. I did take Clorox wipes and disinfectant.

No breakfast available due to the pandemic. I appreciated the effort to reduce exposure. I absolutely appreciated Angel, the maintenance worker who promptly repaired the security door latch that was hanging off the door. He went the extra mile and also made sure we had a TV remote that worked. He deserves a lot of credit for his friendliness and his work ethic.

Door latch not working and hanging off the wall when we checked in. No TV channel guide. TV remote did not work very well. Better, more highlighted explanation of the $35 charge for damage that was held against my credit card. I had to work to find the information on the reservation I printed out.

The property was clean and well kept.

The area isn’t the best but the hotel was clean and updated. The hotel is beside the freeway but we could not hear anything outside. We will stay in that hotel again when we go back to Kingsville.

Stayed her during the winter storm stayed here 3 nights. I felt the staff and maintenance was around the clock making sure guests were comfortable. Made me feel like family. This stay was for leisure again made sure our one night was up to what I needed. Highly recommend this place.

The walk to the office was too long.

Front desk young man was very attentive to our needs for our stay. The house keeping lady came by to check up onour AC unit due to not cooling. She made sure we had a room right away available for us.

The normal way I’m used to opening hotels doors was incorrect at this place and I wish they would’ve said something about it while checking in. Instead they sent a guy from maintenance over and as I was explaining how I tried to open it, he opened it easily and gave me a rude look that made me feel stupid.

The location close to the freeway easy access and the value is pretty good

I cant think on something I think I just cant complain
