Homewood Suites by Hilton Conroe

The hotel was beautiful, very clean, had a door between the bed/bath area and the living area, which was great! It seemed fairly new, had beautiful countertops, was clean, had a very well-lit parking area and was a great location near restaurants, a gas station with good prices on gas, and was far enough outside the bigger cities to be easier to get around Texas. It was a very roomy space and I definitely cannot say enough great things about this hotel!

The check-in staff was not as personable as I wished, but she seemed nice. The breakfast was just not good. I wish I could say that it was, but the hash browns were too crispy and them and the eggs even smelled bad and did not taste right.

Decor was pretty, simple clean, rooms were clean, breakfast was very tasty and loved the cookies in the afternoon!

When we checked in the lady didn’t tell us we needed to request room service, by the time we found out it was too late and we didn’t have fresh towels for our shower the next day.

Breakfast was quite extensive if you do not stay longer than 3 days. After that it gets repetitive. Staff is very helpfull and polite. Cleaning is upon request. The gym is quite big. Areas are very clean and there is more than sufficient parking space. The room we booked was really spacious. Loved the kitchenette in the room with sufficent plates and utensils.

Brakfast is only open from 7-9 Monday to Friday, and 8-10 on weekends. Though if you want to sleep in. :( We came with 2 kids. The cleaning of the room was not really detailed, even though we gave $5.00 USD tip every time they cleaned. Also, almost daily we had to ask for the 4th towel, as the standard is 3 towels per room. Carpet needs deep cleaning. The sofa bed is only for kids, as the matress is not made for the body weight of an adult. You feel every metal piece below.

Very pleased with our stay. The room was huge, clean, comfortable beds, safe, plenty of parking, the pool was really nice with fresh towels available. My grandsons used the basketball court several times. The little store was good for quick snacks or drinks. We really enjoyed our extended stay. Breakfast changed each day and was hot and great. We even pulled out the sofa bed and still had plenty of room to move around.

We chose not to use housekeeping for our 6 night stay, but could have used a few extra trash bags, towels, and coffee.

Very clean and comfortable. All the amenities you want in a hotel! Love the location as it’s near my parents. Awesome little convenience area to grab snacks, great kitchenette in the room, overall nice breakfast… didn’t get to use pool and gym bc we weren’t there long enough but they were very nice!!

Just small gripes - they gave extra linens for the sofa bed but would only give one pillow and no extras; sucks for families with two children. Also didn’t love the powdered eggs at breakfast but the rest of the buffet was awesome. Loved everything else though!

Convenient location, visiting family in the area. Booking was quick and easy. Check-in was very smooth; staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable and nice amenities. Overall a very nice visit. Would definitely recommend.

The value here meets your expectations. It isn't fancy, nor will it blow your socks off, but it is a nice, clean hotel that is great if you need a place in Conroe. I was there for a wedding, so I didn't do much exploring. Everything was already sorted as I was in the wedding party, and the hotel was 4 minutes from the wedding venue. For my purpose, the hotel was great.

I love how clean and how good the place smelled. You can tell how hard the staff works to maintain the area and I love to see clean places. I had to leave a previous reservation because of foul smell and uncleanliness which was upsetting since we are from out of state but I am super happy the place exceeded our expectations

Staff was very pleasant to interact with.

The main access entry drive onto the premises from the road is poorly lit and hard to discern at nighttime. In my opinion it is a safety issue especially at night. Lastly, the main drape in the room does not fully close. The shear does but not the drape. The drape rods are very short and don’t allow for the drape to fully close. For someone who prefers complete darkness to sleep that was somewhat annoying. But we managed by using a clip to pull the drapes together and enhance darkness.

Breakfast is good. Nice large rooms. Good location. I would stay here again.

The dinner wasn’t good. It is really a nice surprise to have it, but needs to be a little better.
