Quality Inn Ennis

Breakfast had standard options for the hotel class, but the breakfast worker (not sure the job title) was not only great at keeping everything stocked, but also consistently offered to make waffles for people and bring it to their table. His personality was exceptionally cheerful and wholesome, and made me want to be a kinder person myself. Wonderful man! The grounds were also gorgeous and extremely well taken care of. Everything was well maintained and manicured. The hotel has a cat that laid around lazily and couldn't decide if it wanted to be inside or outside, but did enjoy pets!

The TV was nice, but the TV remove was fairly unresponsive and it was tedious enough to change and browse channels that we ended up just watching the channel we ended up on after a few minutes of trying to get the remote to work.

Check in was so easy and the attendant was nice. Our room was PERFECTLY placed with a nice view of the pool. The patio area was absolutely perfect for my husband and I to relax after a night out. Breakfast was great and we met the owner who was also very sweet and attentive. When checking out the new attendant was so friendly. The whole place is so cute and well kept up. My husband and I decided we wi definitely make this a regular spot for our nights/weekends out of the house. Highly recommend.

A vending machine with snacks would be great with the ones that have drinks. Wi-Fi would be great to have. The signal in the area was not good but that’s the entire area around highway 45.

The room was very clean as other reviews mentioned. I love a clean room. That made my two night stay pleasant. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The location was also great, it’s right off I45 and near many places to eat. We were there for a racing event at the Texas Motorplex which is 10 minutes away. Perfect!

I did find that there were stains on the top cover and spider webs on the left side bottom corner of the AC unit. Other than that nothing.

This is my go to hotel when I visit Ennis. It is family owned and they really care about their guests. Breakfast is wonderful. Nice lighted patio. Comfortable bed, clean rooms, in a safe area. Bonus: Shadow, the cat, roams the property and sometimes naps on the sofa in the lobby :)

Please provide hot water dispenser for guests 24/7 in the lobby or kitchen area

The property was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was much nicer than the usual buffets. There was a friendly greeter who offered to cook waffles (which were delicious) and helped with finding all the various offerings, which included eggs, sausage, fruits, yogurt, juices, cinnamon rolls, etc and newspapers! There was a lovely courtyard, and the lobby had a lot of travel information as well as the Texas State Travel Guide available.

The breakfast was incredible! So many options and not just carbs, but protein. Friendly service with pride in the work. We also liked our room, tv, seating, and air conditioning. We will be back!

Due to the years of service, the facilities could use a little facelift. New carpet, furniture, appliances. Everything there was clean, but well-worn.

Moriah. Was very friendly and helpful. She was able to direct us to some local restaurants. The room was very clean and the grounds were manicured and clean. The breakfast was good and plenty of food. The location was convenient to the highway and fuel but was very peaceful.

Conveniently located near the highway, restaurants and Walmart. After an eleven hour drive, climbing into bed was a real treat; I didn't want to get out of bed the next morning. Breakfast was delicious and the host was very helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was quite nice. Location of facility is perfect. Upkeep of property is suburb. Ennis is my hometown, and we opt to stay here every time we visit.

I can't think of a thing I did not like.

The leather recliner in the room and the breakfast was really good that was served there. The location was perfect next to a shopping center which was a walk away. Also Walmart was a walk away. Had 3 fast food restaurants and 2 sit down restaurants in the same parking lot area. Also right next to the freeway highway 45... I will be staying at the same place next time I am in Ennis...
