Hampton Inn and Suites Waxahachie

The staff was super friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was great and the breakfast staff was exceptional. The hotel was clean and the beds were very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel.

There wasn't much I didn't like. The only complaint and it's a mild one is when booking the room I had requested adjoining rooms for our family with one of the rooms to be handicap accessible. When we arrived we were not given adjoining rooms but 2 rooms next to each other and neither room was handicap accessible. I had to request a toilet seat riser for my Mom and the front desk lady didn't understand what I was requesting and seemed to need a little more training at the front desk. We finally did receive one and it met her needs. The tubs were shallow enough for her to get in and out of. The above comments did not deter us from having a wonderful stay.

Beds are comfortable, Hot tub helped with my back pain, and the breakfast omelette and potatoes were a nice change.

Everything was fine till the last night… someone was placed in room above us who paced the floor, all night and into the next morning. I’m a teacher and being I have worked with SPED, it’s possible the person was autistic. This is why we did not complain. So our room was right next to elevators, maybe having a business area and leisure area would be considered in future.

We liked the quiteness of the hotel. There were lots of students but we did not hear them. The bathroom was nice as the sink was seperate from the toilet, shower area. We enjoyed the breakfast and the staff over the breakfast. They were very friendly.

The bed tipped to one side and it needed to be flipped or turned around. The staff was not very friendly. There was one young lady with a nose piercing who did greet us with a smile when we saw her. We stayed for 5 nights and did not ask for cleaning every day,

The staff was amazing. They were able to answer all my questions about the area and give me ideas to help celebrate my husband’s birthday. The ladies doing breakfast were beyond sweet. This experience was wonderful and we will return when in the area.

Only issue was that there were no usb outlets to charge our phones. Might need to update that for the future.

I'm assuming it was because of covid restrictions, but the breakfast supply was a bit limited. I would have appreciated a little more in the way of bread and maybe some more fruit choices.

The person who checked us in, was very knowledgeable and answered our questions but she had the discussion memorized and went through everything in a very quick monotone that made it a bit difficult to understand. That said she did answer our questions and then went out of her way to help us figure out where to park our SUV and trailer.

Loved it, the two ladies that served breakfast were awesome, I would come back just to to eat breakfast. They made us feel like family. They deserve a bonus, they were the best I have every experience staying in a hotel.......

Staff was excellent. One of your employees gave us a boost because our battery went dead. Employee was the one who did the breakfast. She was amazing!!! We had an important appointment and because of her help we made it on time.

The floor in our room was wet by the AC. I called and reported it to front desk. No maintenance was available.

Hampton is usually better than most but this one was great. Staff was good,room was comfortable,clean and breakfast was good and the ladies kept it stocked. We have been on the road over a week and this was one of the best we found.

Delicious breakfast! Pricilla and ms. P (also named Pricilla) were absolutely amazing! All staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was PERFECT! Thank you all for such a wonderful stay!
