Motel 6-Longview, TX - North

The location is excellent, the front desk staff is excellent, the housekeeping staff is excellent.

I would recommend either removing "free WIFI" from the bullet point offerings or investing in a better provider because it's taken me, no hyperbole, 27 minutes to submit this review because the Wi-Fi cuts out sometimes in thirty seconds, sometimes in less than one. Other times it's on for hours. Sadly tonight wasn't one of those times. Thankfully the customer service at the front counter is WAY more reliable than whatever service provider the management decided to go with, they are always excellent.

I loved the room and hotel as a whole! The wonderful lady at ther front desk on Saturday September 9th was extremely helpful and had an amazingly positive attitude!! I also loved there area! The room was very clean! And plenty of room. The room was beautiful honestly! Prob the cleanest and largest one I've been to.

Saturday morning loading out there was a couple with the cleaning lady that just stood outside staring. Watched us the entire time we were loading. Idc if it was the owners or what but that was unnerving and honestly unnecessary. I also didn't like the fact that I use Motel 6 because they allow pets but I still had to pay a deposit. This isn't usual for Motel 6. I travel all over the nation for dog shows and have never had to pay a deposit. I also don't allow my show dogs to act out or treat anything up though.

Breakfast not offered or expected. Lots of places very close to eat at. Location very convenient to almost any thing one might want or need. Very clean rooms. Nice and clean area for the motel. On a main road in the city, lots of traffic but the motel sits off and back away from all the traffic, so it's very quiet so no noise problem to keep a guest awake at night.

Can't really think of anything. It was a short stay and it was needed unexpectedly. Just very happy that it had a room available. The price of the room was very reasonable. Almost the entire city lost electricity but this motel didn't and they did not increase their room rates in an attempt to take advantage of people in a really bad and unexpected situation. To be clear, this is a budget motel. Don't expect extras. There's no breakfast, and there's no coffee pot in the room. No gym, no swimming pool. But the rooms are very clean, quiet, and comfortable. I live in town, but this place was a godsend when the power went out for days. It was much better than I could have expected.

I just didn't like that my region had a huge power outage that lasted for days.

The room was big...pet friendly...bed was comfy...microwave and fridge worked...the room was clean

Lots of homeless people and sketchy people walking the property all night. The room key stopped working every day so we had to go to the office everyday for them activate the key...that was annoying

Very friendly staff. Got the last non-smoking room available after Staybridge canceled our reservation without notice. Off the main road (set-back). Price very reasonable.

Noisy location. Our room was on the end near a night club. Heard cars and loud music until early am. No shampoo provided. Towels weren't the best.

The facility is a little old, but is being refurbished. Its kind of in the older part of town and you have to drive a little more from the highway than I expected. Seemed a little dark when I arrived (it was around 9pm) But it wasn't lit up very well, I was nervous about staying there, being an elderly single woman, but I had my trusty dog with me to alert me to any disturbances. Huge room, wood like flooring, maybe they will put in a love seat or a couch. It was very clean and the check in clerk was very helpful.

When approaching the hotel it seemed pretty dark. Maybe more lighting in the entry way of the parking lot, building was kind of hidden buried in the back. The clerk walked me to my room seemed very dark on the smoking side (mistakenly to the wrong side) the hall where the ice is, there was no light I had to use my phone to see where the machine was. Very Spooky at night, by the light of day it was no problem.

It's the people that work here that really make this an excellent place to stay. The location is removed enough from a busy street that the only traffic you'll hear is others pulling up to their rooms.

Some TV sets don't support closed captions. But does that really matter? No.

very simple, clean, and comfortable room - no frills and fancy stuff that is useless

1) Maintenance guy was buffing the floors in the unit next door at 8:00 on Saturday morning. 2) the folks on the opposite wall (next room) were up late yelling and coming and going from their car and talking loud in their bathroom -the bathroom walls are paper thin. Had to close my door and turn the TV volume up to drown them out.
