We had a problem with the A/C unit - wouldn't turn on. So I called the front desk. Within five minutes the night manager was in our room investigating the problem. Very friendly young man, but he couldn't find the problem either. He called the Manager. She arrived ten minutes later and commented that the A/C was a new unit installed earlier that week. While she was replugging the unit we noticed a brief flicker of the panel light. The wall receptacle was worn out. a slight twist of the plug and it worked fine. She found a position of the power cable that allowed the unit to preform properly and said she'd call the electrician who installed the unit and have him replace the receptacle the next day. In all my hotel/motel visits over the last sixty years I have never had this level of care - she even brought us extra blankets in case the unit failed during the night. Over the last twenty years my wife and I have stayed in this Quality Inn two or three times every fall. In the last three years we've noticed a continuous improvement in the accommodations. The rooms are now spotless, the beds more comfortable, the lighting is better and everything (usually) works. I'm pretty sure it's because the current management really does care.

The sink stopper didn't work - I fixed it.

It’s been updated, fresh curtains and paint. Toilets are chair height, mattresses are very comfortable. Always clean. The staff goes out of their way to make everything pleasant. We stay here 6-8 times per year.

The bathtub/shower faucets are difficult to use, and sometimes I can’t get hot water because of this.

Staff were friendly and cool so I was happy from the moment I checked in. The room had refrigerator, iron & ironing board (I needed those), hair dryer, towels, shampoo , conditioner, 2 bars of soap, shower cap, coffee maker @ towels. I don't usually bother with breakfast, but it was included in the rate so I decided to take advantage of it. It was self-service and there was no one there at 7am. I had Texas-shaped waffle which I made for myself, it was delicious. There were also danish, yogurt, cereal, milk, coffee, orange juice, cranberry juice, muffins, grape jelly, cream cheese, and butter. Simple set-up but the breakfast place was kept clean and we really enjoyed it. There were lots of other cars in the parking lot at night but it was very quiet at night, even though we were on the ground floor. A lot of the vehicles were gone by 7am in the morning so they must have been in a hurry heading somewhere. There was nobody but us at breakfast place.

When I walked in the room, it smelt funny, it smelt like damp carpet. It smelt like it was steam-cleaned maybe. It looked like old carpet so I hope they will renovate it and make it a wood-floor sometime. I am used to super-clean environment, so I felt a bit nauseous trying to drink our soft drinks and water (and to take my supplements) we had purchased to drink in the hotel. Having said that I think the hotel is doing its best trying to keep it as clean as possible with what they have. I did not find any hair or little dead bugs, which I often find in other more-expensive, modern looking hotels. They do a very thorough job cleaning the place I thought. But I just don't like old carpets.

Amber at the Front Desk was extremely pleasant and helpful in accommodating our needs. Hotel was clean and comfortable, needs minor repairs which appeared to be in progress. Would stay here again if in the area.

Clean, comfortable beds and pillows, enough towels and toiletries for my group

We were unable to stay close to each other as all the king bed rooms were on one side of the hotel and all of the double rooms were on the other side The double rooms were full size beds instead of queen. Not much room to sleep comfortably

Every time we stay here, they have made more upgrades! This time, they’ve remodeled bathrooms and put in chair height toilets, which is a big win for us! Also, the rooms have been painted and have new drapes.

No complaints at all

We love the location, the rooms are spotlessly clean, the mattresses are so comfortable, the staff is friendly and thorough. We have stayed here at least 10 times in the last four years, and every stay has been delightful.

I can’t think of anything

We stay at this hotel whenever we visit Madisonville, which is quite often. The rooms are always clean, the bedding and pillows are so comfortable and wonderful, the staff is pleasant and professional, and we just absolutely love it here! The price is great, and we always know we have a good place to stay when we visit this part of Texas. Thank you for providing such a wonderful hotel experience.

We liked everything!

Another great stay! Every time we stay here, they have made more improvements. The renovations are wonderful, the beds are comfortable, and everything was spotless!

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Staff was pleasant. TV and air conditioning were in good working order.
