Baymont Inn & Suites by Wyndham Odessa

I was floored with how amazing this hotel was. I got in late because I had a horrible experience at a different hotel and was just looking for a place to stay the night with my husband and 3 kids. The moment I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean it smelled and looked! The room was immaculate and the staff was amazing! I honestly booked the room because it was cheap but I have stayed at pricier hotels that were run horribly by management. This management team and staff deserve so much praise for how amazing they do with the upkeep of this hotel!! I don't know if I will ever be in the Odessa area again but if I do, I will no doubt stay here again!

There is absolutely nothing I didn't like about this place!

We had traveled for a graduation which was actually an hour away from the hotel, so we got back very late and got up a little late, as well. Breakfast ends at 9, but we were heading down at that time. They kept it open just a bit longer for us to be able to get a bite to eat before leaving. It was very sweet of them!

The cleanliness of the room was good, but could have been a bit better. We found a used tube of toothpaste by the sink, crumbs around the desk, and a couple hairs on a pillow on the bed.

It was clean, smelled great as we walked in. restrooms were clean in the front as well.looked like they just remodeled a little in our room.Definitely re painted. loved the walk in shower. Had a friendly staff.I never stayed at a place that gave you options on what floor you prefer and if you want to be close to other guest. Seemed like a pretty good neighborhood. close to Walk-ons for food.We missed out on breakfast because we slept in. speaking of sleeping in they also let us check out an hour later.We will definitely be going back. Thank you.

The hand towels had a little unpleasant smell but no biggy.

The location was just right for my decision with the many food options close by. Staff was always helpful when i asked a question ect.

The landscaping can use some work. Staff could be more helpful when a guest stays with truck and trailer. I was told do not take several parking spaces when the south parking lot had several vehicles doing such! I had to unload my SUV,unhook the trailed from the uhaul truck and squeeze everything where I could find space. At breakfast the eggs were soggy a few times.

Room was clean and comfortable. Bed mattress was very comfortable. AC to quiet to cool room or change to preferred temperature. Nice to help a refrigerator and microwave included. Coffee provided in lobby was very good. Staff were very friendley and polite to include helpful.

The handicap shower was very slippery. I did a split when sitting in. I handicap chair needed adjustment. Rust in legs would not allow it to be fixed.

The hotel was not in good condition but the room was very clean, the bed was super comfy with crisp sheets and pillows, the air conditioning was perfect and surprisingly quiet. We slept like babies. Great for a quick visit when needing a good rest.

The hotel is in dire need of a major renovation. The carpet is dirty and stained, all the room doors are beat up and need work, the free breakfast is not good.

The quality for the price was spot on. I will def stay here in the future. I came to town for a funeral and got to see my family that lives in town and this room was just what I needed.

The only thing was I wish the rooms were a bit more sound proof. I could’ve used a bit more quite. The headboards apparently share a wall if you get what I mean. Maybe headboards on alternating walls could even help.

Basic hotel breakfast. Powdered eggs. Microwaveable meats and bananas and apples on a good day. Fresh coffee. Bagels toast English muffins. Waffles. Cereal. Comfy beds. Cold air. Good tv channels. I’d return if I couldn’t find cheaper & same quality.

The smells in the hallway. & being out in a handicap accessible room. No ice machines working

Overall it is a nice place to stay, the breakfast area was clean and the food was good. I had no food safety concerns and felt just as safe eating at the buffet as I would have in a restaurant. The room was comfortable and well kept. The staff was friendly and responsive.

The hot water was tepid at best, it did not make for a relaxing shower after a long drive.

it was too far from Odessa but that was my fault in not checking the location. The lady at the counter when we arrived was not very friendly at all and was not dressed well. Also when we went to check out the lady at the front was nice but was not dressed (she had a tye dye very wrinkled shirt) properly for receiving guest’s. Maybe something new going on but I have never seen this in other places I’ve stayed at. I understand the lack of staff but nothing is really keeping you from looking your best.
