TownePlace Suites by Marriott San Antonio Northwest

We had a King suite for a family of 4. We knew we'd have a fold out. The room was spacious. There was lots of table and sitting space. We were able to borrow games to play outside. We also ate breakfast and dinner outside because the weather was nice out. Breakfast had a ok selection and we went back for snacks. We got more than we expected.

Our bath soap wasn't completely full. We had to milk the pump to get soap out of it to shower our stay was 1 night so we didn't feel like it was relevant to call house cleaning for. We wanted to check in sooner than 3pm. House cleaning didn't have anything ready so we went to our favorite SA Pho place to eat. Not really a big deal. Just a bit inconvenient.

The breakfast was great - lots of choices and the eggs and sausage were prepared well. FYI, I had an English muffin with butter and peanut butter, eggs, sausage, a chocolate muffin and a milk. The coffee was great, as always. The breakfast associate was friendly, keep everything available, and was constantly cleaning something! Our TV was not working when we arrived but was resolved quickly.

Well, there was only 1 person at the desk when we checked in (a Sunday afternoon about 4pm). I tried to call her when our TV was not working, but needed to go down to the front desk to report it because she was on the phone helping another traveler when I tried to reach her by phone.

Breakfast and the the employees service. They pay attention to details an trash in the hallway. When you call to front desk they act fast. The ladies cleaning the rooms always ask if you need something. The woman at the breakfast always keeping everything clean and refueling all the thing at the table.

The staff is excellent always so polite and friendly you feel like you have known them forever.

Our first night the toilet broke with no one to fix it until the next morning and they were problems with the pool the first day and a half. So we couldn't use it.

The USB ports were really worn and had trouble charging with them, but I used a charging block from home. The lamp on the desk was a very poor design. A lamp under the cabinets in kitchen would have been a great help. I guess you could say lighting could be better but everything else was really good.

my room AC was leaking so badly it went all the way under the bed next to AC. told someone at desk but never got help.

The entire family enjoyed the stay. it was a great value for getting a double bed+ sofa bed+ kitchen. staff was friendly, hotel was clean (really liked it was a no smoking facility ), Pool was open and available. extremely happy with breakfast, had a variety of food and everything was fresh & tasted good.

The location was in a great area.

The one thing that could have been better is a better use of the space. I rented a double bed and it did have 2 beds. The space to get to the bathroom was tight.

Anthony at front desk was exceptional with his level of service. Making sure all was well and to even help with all the things I had to make my boyfriends birthday weekend special.
