Our room was large with a good king bed, seating area inside and outside (with magnificent views), and situated in a stunning scenery. Bathroom had two sinks, nice towels and amenities. Fridge with a proper freezing space. The daily breakfast tasted good. Nice room, attractive looking property.
There was little choice for breakfast, it was preset and brought to our table. The bathroom floor looked very worn in places. The TV stuck out far from the wall in an impossible spot, right in line with the bathroom so we bumped our heads a few times.

What a beautiful oasis in between Moab and Monument Valley. The owners built this place and their attention to detail makes for a lovely, quiet, refreshing spot. Things such as the tile work in the bathroom, the shower with three heads, the Spanish tile pattern sink make it unique. Each room on the ground floor has patio doors leading out to a table and chairs to enjoy being outside, as well as a common area beside the office with a pergola with seating, fire pit and several hammocks. The roses and other flowers were in their full glory. The breakfast was amazing: poached egg in green pepper, hearty whole grain toast, yogurt bowl with granola and fruit to add. Plus beverages and cereal options. After 10 days of travel and staying in standard travelers motels, La Posada Pintada was a wonderful respite.

Spacious room with very comfortable beds and pillows. Nice bathroom toiletries. Lovely tiled bathroom. Excellent breakfasts. Reserved times are needed when the inn is full and in cool weather, given the size of the dining room. This is not a problem for me, but a new concept to some guests. Nice private balcony overlooks rock formations.
Could use a nightlight in the bathroom. Would prefer soap for the shower that is NOT in glass bottles. In an area (Bluff) where dining options are limited.

Artful rustic decor with a large patio to watch the stars. Breakfast is cooked according to each room, very tempting aroma.
Our check-in time was relatively late, and no one at the front desk left me an envelope to open the door. The reserved breakfast time for the next day was 8:30 am, but we were already going at 8 o'clock, so we didn't have a complimentary breakfast. Google Maps pointed to the wrong arrival location, and there were no lights everywhere. We searched for a long time before we found the correct location

It was clean, the room was comfortable and warm. In the bathroom was lovely.
It’s very hard to find at night. It’s set back off the main road which is very dark because it’s a dark sky area so I missed the drive the first time and driving back into it the second time it was hard to see that I was actually at the driveway. I would appreciate some lighting at the driveway so you know that you’re at the right spot

Everything about our stay was amazing. I wish we had spent more time in the area just so we could have been at La Posada pintada longer. The location is great, the owner is friendly and helpful, the room was clean and large, the breakfast was the most amazingly delicious I have ever eaten and the amenities she included were lovely. I especially enjoyed watching the hummingbirds off the back porch, using the specialty soap she includes in the bathroom (made locally), showering in the awesome shower, and (again) having breakfast! She thought of everything- juice, coffee, water, fruit, yogurt/granola, and a phenomenal southwest breakfast burrito (eggs, sausage, potatoes, and beans). It was filling and so tasty! I even asked her how she made it. I bought some of the soap she had in the bathroom I loved it so much. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were super clean and fresh smelling. we loved everything about our stay! highly recommend and we will come back!
nothing to dislike- everything was wonderful

The room was very clean and the bathroom was excellent. I liked the fact that you had dispensers for toiletries rather than single-use plastic containers. It was very quiet and the view was good. Breakfast made fresh every morning by the owner was excellent and different each day. Within a reasonable distance from Monument Valley.
Not much available nearby for food, the nearest cafe closed at 4pm

This is a small 10 unit family constructed/owned property. Very quiet as it is constructed from locally produced adobe blocks. It is obvious through the homey touchs that they have put their life into this small town property. Off the main road, it is quite and very clean for being in the high desert. It was refreshing to stay in a place that is not a big corporate / franchise business. A nice light breakfast was included with the room with sparkling water / coffee provided in the intimate lobby. They guided me to a local steakhouse (Cottonwood) for dinner that was excellent. The owner took an interest in our trip and advised of new admission polices to Arches National Park so we could successfully modify our trip "on the fly". A very nice way to see how life in a small town miles from big cities really is!
Someone who expects the standardization of name brand hotels might be disapponted but I was not. It reminded me of motels 50 years ago (but with TV and A/C that was not necessry due to the adobe construction you would never find in a true commercial hotel. This is the owner's life and her care and that of her small staff is evident and appreciated.

Family questioned the motel when we pulled in (we were the only car). But once in our room they were happy with my choice. We took our sandwiches that we brought from Moab and ate outside on the patio. We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds all over in the backyard! The flowers were beautiful around the grounds. Oh, and the breakfast in the morning was amazing!!
Google maps does not take you to the hotel. It takes you down a road to a house that literally has a sign that says “this is NOT La Posada Pintada!” If you search for the Twin Rocks Cafe it’s right around the corner.

Loved the individually cooked breakfasts. Why can't other b&bs do the same? The room was spacious and comfortable with outside space at the back and front with the most incredible view of the bluffs. Good location to visit Monument valley. The best accommodation of our trip. Would definitely recommend.
Bluff is a small town so eating out options are limited.
